We are usually committed to the Marriott brand when we visit major cities, but we were looking for something with a slightly better location and somewhat different for our 2-night Denver stay.
We were impressed with the reviews, so we decided to try Magnolia hotels for the first time. It’s nice that they’re part of the Stash Hotel Rewards programme for independent hotels as this was the added incentive to stay.
The entry is interesting as it's on the side of the building in what looks like an old open alleyway. It adjoins a large parking garage which has through-access.
The doormen were very welcoming with check-in being fast and easy.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Nice branded bath amenities and coffee & tea stand. Excellent powerful shower with easy-to-use controls.
There is no guest directory, just a double-sided sheet giving you all the facts simply. No need for more really.
It's literally 2 short blocks walk over to the 16th Street Mall where you’ll find loads of shops and restaurants. Harry's, the bar downstairs was lively and is accessible to the public directly from the street.
Breakfast is served downstairs in the basement. Nice ambience with the step fountain.
Lovely touch with the cookies and milk in the evening!
Our first impression of Magnolia Denver was a pleasant one and a nice introduction to the Magnolia brand.More
