We loved this hotel, efficient and friendly staff, a nice ambience in the lobby and you know immediately how nice this property is. Our large suite had a Lounge Kitchen bedroom and bathroom with all conveniences such as cutlery, fridge freezer microwave and cooker.. nice bathroom and bedroom with king size bed, walk in Wardrobe, Iron and table, TV in both Bedroom and Living room.. the furnishings and fittings smart and new. The aircon nice and quiet while keeping the room perfectly cool despite the 90 plus heat outside.. The hotel is very central and located close to 16th Avenue, the shopping district in Denver which has a free mall bus, an excellent way to get about, just hop on and off where you please- the route also takes you towards City Hall and The Colorado History Museum, and a taxi ride (about $10) takes you to the wonderful Denver Botanical Gardens. Evenings are nice on 16th Ave , there are piano players, Chess matches all sorts of activities going on, do not miss the Coyote Ugly Saloon! All in one of our best hotel stays in the USA. Would not hesitate to rebook in future.

We have stayed at the Magnolia in the past and were pleasantly surprised by the level of service and comfort of the room. It was my first selection when we decided to spend a weekend in Denver this summer. As a treat, I upgraded us to a Deluxe King Suite. I know the Magnolia strives to be a boutique hotel, catering to those looking for something other than a chain. That was the experience we had in the past, not this time.

As a Stash Reward Member, I was immediately displeased that we were given a room on the 4th floor, right off the elevator. Not only did we have street traffic noise, but people sitting below having loud conversations carried right to our room all night.

Unfortunately the breakfast left much to be desired for. Not only was the fruit soggy, but there were never enough glasses for juice. We ended up going out to eat our last day there because of how poor the food was.

The rooms are in desperate need of some TLC, while at first glance, the room looks great, you start to notice how the furniture is starting to fall apart when you start to look.

Finally, at 4:00 a.m. our fire alarm in our bedroom started to chirp. I called down to the front desk and it took about 45 minutes for a repair. The night desk clerk issued us a credit for the trouble, but in my opinion, that should NEVER happen at a hotel. The batteries should all be changed at least twice a year in every detector! If it's an ongoing problem, there needs to be a conversation with maintenance. Not only did it wake us out of a dead sleep, but then it took us both 2 hours to get back to sleep.

Finally, the AC control. It was blocked so you were unable to turn the AC down below 65 degrees. It was mid 90's the entire weekend, and we both wanted to sleep in cold comfort.

I will say, the rooms are very clean and we were excited to see that. You have to be super careful these days!

As for staying again, we decided that we were going to start looking for another place. My first instinct was to stay at the Hyatt for about the same money, at least we could get the rooms cold and have a peaceful nights sleep.

Stayed here the last night of our vacation and after camping for a few days this was luxury. Complimentary drinks at happy hour, complimentary milk and cookies before bed, and complimentary (albeit not so great) breakfast buffet.
Our room was huge with a kitchenette.
The bed and pillows were amazing. The jet bathtub is somewhat overkill but nice. And their complimentary toiletries are perfect for traveling.
Overall, I really liked this hotel and their outdoor space to have our wine at the end of the day was nice too.
The location is perfect. You can walk to everywhere downtown.

Nice hotel in a hip location. A couple issues with service. We were going to arrive late so we called to see how long the restaurant/room service were open. The front desk agent told us the kitchen served until midnight. We got to our room at 10:40 and went down to the restaurant. The manager told us that the kitchen closed at 11 and offered no solutions. We the went to the front desk and the agent places a room service order and it seemed like they were doing is a big favor. It was a little irritating. The food was very good, however.

One fun thing about the hotel is the milk and cookie bar - we were excited for that but were told at check in (10:35pm) that it only happened until 10. That was disappointing as well.

The breakfast was excellent!

Thank you for choosing us, and thank you for sharing your story. We're glad the staff managed to get in an order for you, and the other issues of time management have been addressed. Hopefully next time you'll make it before the cookies disappear. Till then,

When we checked in Chad gave us an overview of the neighborhoods and some ideas on places to go. The rooms were immaculate. They have a one hour happy hour, cookies and milk at night and a great breakfast.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Denver.

I booked a regular room but somehow ended up in a king suite, which was incredible! I especially liked the milk and cookie bar at night and the proximity to everything I needed to get to -- work, shopping, restaurants all within walking distance!

My wife and I stayed at the Magnolia hotel for a one-night anniversary get-away. I chose the hotel primarily because of the price and a recommendation of a family member. We paid $202, which included tax, a $26 valet parking fee, and a $5 bottle of Voss water that we accidentally opened while in our room.

Here's what I liked about the hotel:
- Central location.
- Convenient, reasonably-priced valet parking.
- Free afternoon cocktails.
- Price. Honestly, if you include the cost of valet parking, this is about as cheap at it gets for a decent hotel in this part of the city.

I wasn't crazy about the room itself, though. We were on the 11th floor in a standard King room. It felt a tiny bit cramped. More importantly, it just didn't seem very pleasant. There was something missing in the quality of the decor. The bed was adequately comfortable after a night of dancing, but not overly so. For about $60 more per night, you can go to the hotel next door for a serious upgrade in room quality.

The Magnolia presents itself as a boutique hotel, but I think it's in need of a little extra TLC to be truly deserving of the "boutique" designation.

If you're looking to lounge around in luxury all day, I'd recommend going elsewhere. That said, if you just want a decent place to stay downtown without breaking the bank, the Magnolia should suit you.

Side note: there were two weddings going on. It does seem like a nice place to hold a wedding, as it has a lovely reception area on the lower level, and the overall feel on this and the main floor is one of elegance.
