I love this place! It is a lovely change from all cookie cutter hotels. The Brown Palace is beautiful and grand. The lobby is worth seeing even if you are not staying here. This trip we were on the 'Top of the Brown' level giving us a spacious room yet the room was very dark but still very nice. The shower was outstanding and I love the fact that the hotel's water is all from their underground spring. They say the 9th floor is haunted but thankfully we did not experience anything! All staff was helpful; we will be back for sure!

This is our third stay in a year at the Brown. It is a wonderful, classic, historical hotel, yet not old or stuffy. The amenities are all as modern as anywhere else. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. While late night room service can be disappointing, most service is spot on: bell service, concierge, and at the several very good restaurants. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a special place that seems more than just a routine business hotel, this is a great option.

Denver should be proud of a hotel that hold up to whatever NYC, Chicago and Fan Francisco have to offer. A beautiful property, from the amazing lobby to the Ship Tavern to the rooms. Great bed and well-appointed rooms.

Nit; I think a hand-held, European-style unit in the shower would be appreciated.

The hotel staff has made this an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable conference. The wait staff at our meals were among the most attentive and efficient that I've ever experienced at similar conferences in other cities and at other hotels. The meals themselves were also of excellent quality.

The accommodations are quite comfortable, although I'll admit that the music rising from the atrium could be quite loud at times.

I and many of my companions also made it a point to experience high tea in the atrium. This is something that must be tried at least once.

When my wife and I got into our room the carpet had a large wet spot. We thought something was leaking. Called house keeping and they said it must have been the previous occupants. They said they would give us another room. When we got into our new room it was apprx. 20% smaller with a queen bed

I visit Denver often and stay in Marriott properties. BP provided a comparative rate so I gave it a try. The hotel has a very unique lobby and the piano music during high Tea is nice touch.
I had a Signature suite which was nice size.
Being Marriott gold they gave me breakfast coupon and free internet. The breakfast was very good . I had to shell out of pocket for Coffee and Juice ) without coupon Breakfasts for one is about 5 dollars.

Room Tip: View from my room (714) was of parking lot. park car on lot around the corner for less than half...

The Brown Palace is a beautiful old building constructed in 1892. Unfortunately on this stay the service was not up to Marriott's standard or the grand history of the hotel. On three occasions during a two night stay the staff failed miserably. A promised overnight laundry service (with a 35% up charge) was delivered late (even after a call assured that it would be sent right up it took another 30 minutes). A request to have the room made up was greeted with a "we'll send a housekeeper right up". Five hours later -- no service. A call for room service at 11 pm (the hotel touts its 24-hr room service) was directed to the front desk (their standard practice) was greeted with a "can you hold for a moment". Five minutes later, hung up and called back. The lone clerk said, "I'll have room service call you back immediately". 15 minutes later -- no call.

Clearly seems like management is not on top of response time in any department. Too bad for an otherwise nice hotel in a good location.
