I organized a guy's white water rafting trip to Denver, CO. Opting to stay in the comfort of the city, versus camp, I choose the Westin based on Westin's and SPG's reputation for good customer service. We were not disappointed. I coordinated a block of rooms with the Conference Services Manager and was able to get a group rate on a block of rooms. Their Conf Services Manager was unusually responsive and helpful. They were able to accommodate my friends' preferences for double beds/king, my preference for adjoining suite rooms and everything from requests for ice, to recommendations and help with package delivery. As someone whose stayed in their fair share of hotel properties and knows what they like, I can enthusiastically recommend the Westin for a centrally located Denver stay.

Room Tip: Their Tabor Suites feature a King in one room and an adjoining parlor with a king-sized pull down mu...

The Westin, located right on the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver, has the most comfortable beds and bedding of any hotel I've ever stayed. They call them the "Heavenly Bed" line and it's not wrong. The bed itself is plush, soft and so comfortable that it's hard to want to leave once you lie down. The thing that sets it apart for me are the pillows! They have several pillows of different sizes on the bed and every one of them are so fluffly and plush. It really feels like your sleeping on a cloud!

It is hard to go wrong with a Westin for business. Their properties are well located, predictable and fairly well appointed. This one in downtown Denver is within walking distance of the 16th street mall and LoDo. It has a Palm located in it, but it could use a refresher on its "bar". The lounge/bar area looks like an afterthought -- like they just dumped a drink cart in the middle of a conference break area. No T.V., no bar scene, no separation. Other than that, the rooms are good, and they offer the option to get points instead of maid service, which is good for us (but maybe not good for the maids who probably get lower tips as a result). Overall, I recommend it for business for one or two nights.

Just had a FAB wedding wkend at the Westin with more than 150 guests from all over the world staying at the Denver Westin. All guests loved the ambiance, hospitality, spacious rooms...and the proximity to wonderful shopping!. Their expert chef customized a wonderful Sri Lankan dinner for our wedding guests. If you have an event where you want to dazzle your guests, stay at the Denver Westin. Ryan and Travis, the event mgrs will ensure that every detail will be well executed! Slight snag with long checkout but other than that couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

Room Tip: Get a room that faces west so you can wake up to the mountains!

We were excited to give this hotel a try since we've stayed at a few others in Downtown Denver. We've stayed at other Westin hotels and always been satisfied. I would definitely rate our stay as average. We were disappointed that the hot tub was closed (and has been since March) and the issue that they are having should have been taken care of by now. The pool deck furniture was nice, but the pool itself was kind of small and was crowded when we were there. You could tell that the rooms were date, though they look like they've had some renovations recently. The bed was very comfortable, so certainly, if you're going to just sleep there and get a good deal on the room, it might be worth it. Elevators were slow, old and noisy. Trying to get down for breakfast was a chore. We waited about 2-3 minutes between elevators, and after 3 came that were full, we just walked down the 12 or so flights of stairs to get to the main floor. All-in-all, a little disappointing.

Staff were great, but especially Gloria H. We were here for five days. Gloria was always quick to see to our needs, including getting the ice machine fixed. We found nothing to fault and really enjoyed our stay.

Awful. Wifi is so slow it's unusable. I tried two rooms and paid for the premium service and still barely got a tricjle. This is also a run down property that doesn't deserve westin name. Makes a Sheraton feel luxurious. Avoid avoid.

Dear Dtap2,
I sincerely apologize for the impression our hotel has left upon you. I would like to assure you that our hotel’s recent renovation was designed by Westin Brand designers and underwent exhaustive reviews prior to implementation. The fact that it left you feeling so despondent is disheartening to me. We have had numerous positive comments regarding the transformation but it does seem that it definitely did not meet your expectation. I would welcome any personal communication you would like to offer in the way of constructive feedback if you would like to by e-mailing me @ julie.rhodes@westin.com.
Thank you for your time and once again, I do apologize that our hotel was not what you hoped it would be.
