You can tell right off that they had a limited amount of horizontal space when they chose this building site. The lobby is elegant, but limited in size & space with no comfy seating or focal point. The bar/lounge area is separated from the lobby and a little intimidating to enter.
They did serve a well made cocktail once inside and the food and service were fine.
The rooms were typical Ritz, comfortable. This hotel is very business oriented, located near the Court House complex and several office towers. This is not in the middle of an ambient neighborhood with shops, food & bars. 16th street is a walkable distance though. It's also directly across from the Greyhound Bus depot, so there was a constant low level of drama outside.More
