“Great little place”
Reviewed 21 September 2013

Dining options VERY limited in Dove Creek, but this place is a gem. You'd think you were in a coffee shop in a city. Family owned and operated by Francie and Greg....she's a local; he's an Australian transplant. Great latte and chais. They make their own yogurt; had it with granola for breakfast...very yummy. Breakfast sandwiches also yummy (definitely have them add the peppers) and great paninis for lunch. They close at 2pm, so you might want to grab an extra Panini to go.

“Desperate for a decent cappuccino !”
Reviewed 16 June 2013

Here we were driving through a small town in Colorado, needing to stop for a coffee...the last coffee stop had been disastrous.... Some sickly sweet brew from the Kum n Go, that they called a 'Cappucino'...when we saw a sign saying 'ESPRESSO'. STOP HERE my friend yelled in desperation! Ahhhh it was like being at home in Melbourne .... It was the best Aussie cappuccino we had in the 4 weeks we had been in the USA. The panini was delicious, and the banana cake was to die for.
The owners were friendly and chatty, and made the experience more worthwhile.

“Quaint, eclectic little coffee shop”
Reviewed 6 April 2013

Stopped from a recommendation by our motel...fine espresso, nothing amazing but it was open, on the main road thru town and a local business. They do sell some jewelry, clothing and artsy stuff that make a bit more interesting. Not a must stop at place, but the coffee was hot and it was fine for us.

“Worth the stop”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

You wouldn't know it from driving through Dove Creek, CO; we have a hidden treasure of a coffee house. They serve breakfast and lunch (Monday through Friday only) and do their best to accomodate vegetarians as well. The owners are friendly, and their pastries and desserts are home made and fresh. Couple this with a chai tea or coffee and you have a recipe for a stop that is well worth it.

Also of note: they make and sell their own olive oil, infused with rosemary or garlic.

“Best coffee in the west.”
Reviewed 12 July 2012

This fussy coffee lover took the wrong road between Cortez and Monument Valley and glad we did. We fount the best coffee we have ever had in the US, brewed well by a Barista from Melbourne Australia. Wild Coffee is a small affair tucked in next to the Motel 9. Don't drive past, make sure you drop in and drink the coffee and eat the bagels. 10 out of 10! Very friendly service too!
