Have not been to Walshs in a while, but due to unfortunate circumstances I found myself at a function yesterday.
Service has greatly improved since my last experience. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional.
Only complaint would be the portions sizes of the dinner but a lovely young man did offer extras which was very appreciated.
If service and food anything like yesterday I will be back.

8 of us stayed here a few weeks ago for a night away with my mum and dad for their 50th wedding anniversary and I have to say our stay was first class. The staff could not have been more helpful and really went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. They went to the bother of a personalised menu, golden candles for the table and even came with a complimentary bottle of bubbly!!! Rooms were grand and really nice and warm. Our meal was superb and the music in the restaurant was great. The whole family had a great nite, so thank you Walsh's for making it a memorable night.

Average/comfortable room, could not believe we were asked to pay a £10 deposit for the remote control for the TV in our room.
Breakfast, cold tomatoes, no egg, uncooked soda bread, need I say any more except the staff were missing??
The hotel was fully booked because of the wedding guests but when they knew this it should have been fully staffed?

The room was spacious and the bedding was clean but the room was freezing, the carpet was really dirty and the walls need a good paint!!The view from the window was a wall and the water in the shower was freezing!!The room also needed a good clean,a lot of dust on tables/pictures!!The food wasn't great and neither was the service, the breakfast was particularly poor!!On a positive note ,the live entertainment was great! We stayed here as a Livingsocial deal and I will defo not be back......just don't bother!!!

Stayed here on a groupon deal on sat 19th oct. 6 girls in the apartments. With bed, breakfast, evening meal and glass of wine. Food was good enough. Rooms clean. It was a quiet weekend there though. Not much happening in the bar. As a group of girls away without the kids, it was great craic, nice atmosphere for less than £30 quid on the deal. You couldn't ask for anymore!
