“Mediocre Food and VERY Poor Service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 December 2013

Mediocre food and very poor service pretty much sums this place up.

SERVICE: The waiter was very unknowledgeable about the menu and as it turned out when we got our food, couldn't explain menu items correctly or answer questions correctly. He also could not have cared less about waiting on us. We had to ask for things several times before he brought them and he disappeared for a long time - someone else ended up taking care of us. Additionally the chef could not have cared less about getting our order correct - two out of three of our meals were incorrect. We wouldn't have sent them back but we just wanted to get out ASAP.

FOOD: This is below average hotel food at best. At the Sunday brunch the fruit wasn't fresh, the scrambled eggs were inedible and the juice tasted funky. The omelet station was non-existent (sidebar: the waiter explained that the omelet chef quit, which made me laugh. Why not say something like "we are currently without an omelet chef but we'd be happy to make you whatever you like" instead of "sorry, he quit." - not a genius, this waiter.)

Save yourself and go somewhere else.

“Advertised prime rib, "ran out" but they had just opened for the day!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 October 2013

We arrived here a few minutes after this restaurant opened for dinner and asked about the prime rib special that was advertised on the sign out front. Luckily we did this before being seated as the hostess went to ask about it and then the manager came up and informed us that they had "ran out" and that he had told them they needed to cook more. I questioned why they would advertise it out front when prior to opening they knew they didn't have any wouldn't be serving it for the night. He didn't have an answer and we left--went to Digs for their prime rib dinner which was excellent! Saw as we drove by later that the advertisement for prime rib had been removed.

“Breakfast was supreme!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 September 2013

We had read bad reviews about breakfast, so we tried other places at first. We finally tried their breakfast the last day we were there and we most definitely missed out on a good breakfast those other days. We didn't eat the breakfast buffet, but instead we ordered our meal fresh. It was a lot less expensive than the buffet and we got everything we like to eat. Breakfast food on warmers just will not be good, so we expect this is what most people are ordering because the server seemed to push the buffet. For less than $10, we got 3 pcs of bacon, 2 pcs of sour dough toast, hash browns and 2 eggs and what seemed to be homemade blackberry preserves. The food was hot and fresh. It was one of the best breakfast I have eaten from a restaurant, so I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad unless we just got lucky, but I will definitely eat there again.

“Great location... everything else just average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2013

Next time I would just have a glass of wine on the terrace and have dinner somewhere else. The service was slow, the orders were wrong and the food was uninspired. Two glasses of wine and two large salads cost over $60.
