Located away from the downtown hustle & bustle (it's only 10 minutes away), the motel offers well equipped, clean rooms, a good included breakfast, and decent value. Higher priced "mountain view" rooms are not always worth the premium unless you like the parking lot between you and the mountains. Swimming pool and spa are well maintained although the outside patio is very small. Staff was very friendly and competent.

Could not have felt more welcome. Great staff - friendly in a genuine helpful way. Didn't question that the bikes needed to be in the room and even provided old towels and sheets for bike maintenance. Good continental breakfast with large fruit salad and hot options. Big plus - homemade cookies in the afternoon.

Not in the charming part of Durango, but close by my work destination. Free parking was abundant, free breakfast was good, and nice to have coffee and tea available all day. Friendly desk staff. Only disappointment was that the housekeeping staff never made up the room after my first night; it was exactly the same when I returned at 5p as it was when I had left at 8a. Mentioned it to the desk, and they very appropriately offered to give me anything I needed (towels or whatnot), but did not have any explanation for why it was skipped. Minor maintenance issues: when I hung my bathroom kit on the hook, the hook fell of the back of the door. Good to have an internet ready computer in the lobby for those of us not traveling with laptops.

A decent place by Hampton standards but nothing special. Rooms, linens were just OK. Decent breakfast in the morning. Hotel staff is not the friendliest or the most attentive but I've never had a serious problem with them (I've stayed here several times). Overall not my favorite Hampton but a good place in Durango, very close to downtown. Pricey but then just about everything in Durango will be.
