“Pleasantly surprised!”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

We had a business visit in nearby Gypsum Colo. We weren't sure what this neat little place would be like but took a chance! The décor is 40-50 'diner and fun! The wait staff was quick, attentive and friendly! You could have had a generous breakfast for lunch if you want,,, or the "low Carb" menu that my partner and I enjoyed,,, we chose a nice tuna steak, cottage cheese, she substituted French fries! Nice salad of much more than just iceberg lettuce! Steamed broccoli, squash cauliflower, carrots, etc.

TASTY, FRESH , FAST! Prices were not bad,,, hey it's a mountain town next to I-70!
I now know a new place for a quick, great meal when on the road!

People that go in a "regular people place" and try to compare it to some fantasy 5 star they claim they like,,, are just wasting your,,, and their, whiney time! IMHO

“ALWAYS GREAT FOOD”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Have eaten here many times and the food is always consistent and fresh. Set up like the old diners of the East Coast, the breakfast menu has so many great choices. Evening meals are just as good, but breakfast here is a must. Ample amount of food to where you will not leave hungry, so a great way to start your day off, and almost everything is under $10.
Kid friendly and even a few outdoor tables to give you a nice view of the surrounding mountains.

“Just Below Average”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

I usually expect some in house gravy that has flavor and character. This was the typical gravy that is made of flour, water and pepper with chunks of sausage in it. Very bland. Also if you call something the "southwest omelet" it needs more than just green chilies dumped in it. Overall I love diners and will tolerate the Bunn coffee and perhaps even some humorously unsympathetic service if the food is as diner food should be: conspicuously bad for you and delicious. This place is just bad for you.

“Cute, Homey Place”
Reviewed 17 May 2014 via mobile

This is a typical 1950s/60s diner with the blue bar stools! There are booths as well. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they know the regulars.

I had the veggie browns and it was delicious! Everything smelled really great at the table! If I lived in Eagle, it would become a regular spot for me.
