“A must for Beaver Creek”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 January 2014

Our first night in Beaver Creek, we decided to do the sleigh ride with dinner at Bearcat stables. This turned out to be a fantastic experience. From the professionalism of the staff picking us up from the hotel at exactly the appointed time, to the wonderful stories told during the starlit sleigh ride through the snow, everything was above and beyond what we believed it would be. The buffet-style food, though simple, was extremely tasty and well worth the price. I would fully recommend this trip to young and old visiting the Beaver Creek area.

“just ok”

Our family did the sleigh ride/dinner at bearcat. I will list the pros and cons. Pros: extremely friendly staff, very nice location, cozy cabin where dinner is served. Cons: main complaint is overpriced....we paid $100.00 per person (including mandatory 20percent tip for six people or more), Sleigh ride was only 20 minutes, we did the second ride which was in the dark....although stars were beautiful that was about all we could see since it was dark outside. Dinner was very good but not worth the 50.00 per person charged just for the dinner. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience we were just a little disappointed for what we received for the money.

“Nice Ride through the Aspens”

I had taken my niece here a few years back, really enjoyed the ride and would recommend it to others - its a walking ride though. if you are a experienced rider - you might want something more active. It was a nose to nose...

“Nice riding adventures”

Beautiful ride with fun "trail boss". I apologize I can not remember her name, but she was friendly, knowledgable about the area and history! Stables are well kept and nice to know will be protected from further "developer plans" for the next 100 years!

“Wonderful experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013

Went on a two hour ride with Bearcat stables while on vacation in the Vail Valley. I have been here many times and can't believe I haven't checked this place out. Although I had not been on a horse in over 20 years I felt very comfortable. Our guide, Casey, was friendly and very informed about the area and the history of the land - it was like chatting with an old friend. The horses are very well groomed and trained and easy to guide. I would highly recommend Bearcat stables to anyone in the Vail Valley. The over 150 acres they have trails on are absolutely stunning and the wranglers/guides are professional and friendly. A very positive experience!
