“Previously Great, Not Great this Time”

Dish is a very friendly place with a very interesting menu. In contrast to numerous previous visits (all of which were excellent), our most recent visit was a mixed bag -- some of the food was very good, other dishes weren't that great. However, the menu is very creative, and this may be the best restaurant in Edwards.

“The sprouts are to die for !”

For us going to a restaurant it is all about the food ! Dish have been there twice last 60 days and going again this week. Running a restaurant is not easy but they have made the food a interesting experience.

“Dining adventure”

What a diverse menu! Dishes/recipes to be found nowhere else and all were delicious. Decor is very modern and the bartender knows how to make a rye manhattan. Our fare included celery salad, grilled gnocchi, tenderloin shoulder with mushroom sauce, braised Brussel sprouts.

“Glad We Decided to Try It”

We read some reviews about Dish and decided to give it a try. Although we went to the Eat, Drink which is downstairs and I guess a sister restaurant, they directed us upstairs to Dish. We looked at the menu which was divided into different cuisines such as Italian, Mexican, etc. Initially we were a little put off by the menu; but, you can mix and match any of the plates. There were small as well as large plates.

Our experience was excellent. Great service and great menu. Everything was very fresh tasting. I loved being able to see the chefs in the kitchen cooking - and would probably sit at the kitchen bar area to watch them work their magic next time.

We had a beet salad, and I ordered squid ink linguini with shrimp in the small size. More than enough - my husband had salmon and was pleased.

I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try some more from different countries!

“TERRIBLE service!”

Great concept, great food, TERRIBLE service. From the moment we walked in and were "greeted" by an indifferent female sommelier we were concerned about service and it only got worse. Our patronizing waitress came and said she was training someone and would be right back with the trainee because she wanted her to hear her "spiel" and returned almost 10 minutes later after standing at the front chatting with the sommelier and the trainee. She went through the menu with us and we ordered and things started arriving and the food was amazing! Things initially came at about the right pace until we got to the entrees. Our wait person brought fresh plates, and after 20 minutes when we had still not been served or even been acknowledged by her, my husband went up to the front where she was again chatting with the sommelier and told her we were leaving. She acted surprised and said she didn't realize we were in a hurry. We had arrived at 6:25 and it was then 8:30. In a hurry? I don't think so. She asked permission to adjust our bill; we paid and were out of there! I am so sad as it is a great place and we are here in Edwards for a month and would have loved to frequent Dish, but will not go back, nor recommend it to anyone else, and will leave our less than shining recommendation in the condo we are renting.
