A lovely dedication to both 9/11 and local fallen heroes. An actual rock slab piece of the Pentagon is displayed (and illuminated at night). The park provides an easy paved sidewalk around a dog friendly man made pond as well as easy access and parking from Interstate 70 by car.

Great in-ground skate park. Pond for dogs to swim in and paths for biking & walking.
Playground has water feature to play in & nice rides for little toddlers and older kids too. Athletic fields are used for soccer games. There are also some interesting geo-caches nearby.

This is a wonderful park for all ages. Lots to do, shade, skate, bike, and a splash pad (doesn't run on Mondays). Dogs welcome too. We go here often, and there are always other kids for my 3.5 yr old to play with. Clean restrooms, but bring your own snacks.

dogs, skate park, soccer. No music and need more benches for people to just sit and relax. Would also be helpful if they had a stand for water or snacks during the summer

Getting off the interstate for a break? Take the round-a-bout to Miller Ranch Rd instead of the truck rest area. There's a dog park on the east side of the pond, a playground for the kids, restrooms and in the summer a water fountain play feature, skateboard park and picnic area. If you want to stop for more than just a potty break, this is the spot.
