“Tiny but mighty”
Review of Grano - CLOSED

Cuisines: New Zealand
Restaurant details
Reviewed 18 September 2013

Grano offers friendly service, consistently good (eightthirty roasters) coffee and an ever-changing menu. The breakfast menu includes the usual bacon and egg fare and a generous big breakfast. Delicious beetroot chutney is served with their eggs, and make sure you try the hash browns - golden potato comfort food. Situated in a busy commercial area, there are a number of handy, portable or quick-serve breakfast and lunch options including breakfast burritos, scones, pies, salads and soups. You can linger longer (I often like to stay for a second coffee) with a lovely outdoor courtyard area for sunny days, and comfortable indoor seating. If you're on your own there are newspapers and recent magazines available. With Mediaworks right next-door this cafe is popular with a number of well-known TV personalities. Don't head this way on the weekend - at present, Grano is only open Monday-Friday.
