I've been to Marco's several times. Both locations in Denver are pretty much the same:
The crust has a well developed flavor and since I started ordering my pizzas extra crispy, I have enjoyed it even more. The sauce is good, the cheese is good, and the other toppings I've had seem fresh. I think they use fresh mozzarella and it could use a little more salt but other than that no complaints. There is a pistachio sauce that is quite good, if you're in the mood.

We went to this place based on other reviews, but were quite disappointed. The pizza is okay, but seems a bit over-priced. Also, it was not really hot when it came out, and certainly didn't stay hot as we ate it. Maybe the downtown location is better, but this one eoesn't live up to the hype.

We have been here a couple of times with ours two children and it has not disappointed.

We enjoy the pizzas, salads and the yummy lemoncello wings. They have a kids menu which includes their high quality pizza, which my boys love!! We have done the Bronx and Abruzzo pizzas as well as the standard Marinara, all relish!!

The service is always top notch. On our first visit the waitress took our two boys, 5 and 7, to the kitchen to make their own cannolis, they were so excited to "cook like chefs". I was thrilled that she took this kind of time with them.

We will return time and time again!

Nice concept coal fired pizza ovens, but the reality is, the fire is mostly from lovely hickory they have stacked below the ovens.
Again we sat at the bar and enjoyed some good repartee withthe bar keep. She had a good knowledge of the beers on tap. Mostly the taps were a take over from the O'dell Brewing company to celebrate the annual beer festival which started in Denver today. A good selection of not overly hopped beers.
For a snack before our pizza arrived, we ordered a half order of the lemon-cello marinated chicken wings. These are great, refreshing lemony flavored, crispy from the hot oven. The mini drumsticks are skinned so the fat content is low and the flavor high.
We ordered the " Hells Kitchen" pizza, named after the New York local, not the guy with horns. So although it has some nice spicy meats, it's not too hot. But the flavor was good. The thin crust is almost perfect, it has a great crusty rim, but the base was a little soft. Wouldn't stop us ordering again .
All in all a nice eating experience, with a restaurant full of friendly servers. ( are all restaurants in Denver like this??)
We'll be back for more
