“Great Location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

We booked this hotel in a package, not knowing the area at all. We were going to a wedding at the Air Force Academy so it seemed a good choice being between Denver and Colorado Springs. We were pleasantly surprised at the property. It was a great location right across from a huge mall as well. The rooms were a bit small but clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you stay there be sure and ask for a room away from the elevators. They are really noisy and kept me up much of the night.

Room Tip: Don't get a room by the elevator, they are very loud!

I was there for a wedding. They do a very nice job in that respect. The staff in general was spectacular, from the valet to the bell hop to restaurant personnel.

Get the golf course view versus the mountain view. The mountains are too far away and all you'll see is the parking lot and the IKEA.

The golf course is nice. The outdoor pool is clean and the pool staff is very nice.

There is a lot to do nearby in regards to shopping and eating.

The room refrigerator which is standard is too small. They'll charge you $10/day for a dorm fridge.

Overall impression.....very positive.

Room Tip: Get the golf course view vs. mountain view. The moutains are too far away and you're just going...

What a wonderful experience! The staff was very efficient, the room was clean and very nice with a private balcony overlooking the golf course, a sitting room and stairs leading to the bedroom. Breakfast was great with a variety of fruit, choices of cereal (hot or cold), eggs, meats including bacon and sausage, juices, etc. The environment is very clean, quite, and restful. There was a complementary bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us. Although we do not drink, we did appreciate the thought and effort to make our first night as a married couple memorable. I am looking forward to the occasional getaway there in the future. Great choice, Sweetheart!

Room Tip: Make sure you request an east facing room; much nicer than overlooking the IKEA store.

Pros- The staff was helpful with doors and luggage. The area around the hotel is very nice. There are many good places to shop and eat.
Cons - The room was incredibly small. ( I have never stayed in a hotel room as small as the one we received) The room contained a queen size bed, a tiny refrigerator, a closet, small armoire, a little desk, a cloth covered chair, and there was no room for anything else. The bathroom was so small that you could not open or close the door if someone was in there. You could barely bend over in the shower without touching the walls. The bathroom made me feel like I was staying in a motor home.
The A/C blew so hard that it kept my one year old son up until about 4 am when I turned the thermostat up to 80 degrees so it would stop blowing but the room got very warm.

Room Tip: Do not use trip advisor to book a room at this hotel. your room will be tiny!

I returned to Denver for the wedding of a good friends daughter. In the midst of all the fun and frivolity of catching up with friends and attending the wedding, reception and related activities, the hotel was tranquil and had everything needed. The room was very nice with a view of the Rockie Mountains. The staff were courteous and helpful. A general store had nice clothes, gift and food and beverage items and was nicely staffed. While the hotel and conference area is big, it seems cozy and is in a park like setting surrounded by the golf course and tennis courts which are off to the side. I would definitely return to the Inverness Hotel for future trips to south Denver. The only missing item was a humidifier which is nice in very dry Denver.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the front of the hotel have a view of the Rockies. Other rooms face the golf course.

It is a true pleasure to know that you enjoyed your stay and that the wedding activities were a success. Perhaps you may enjoy our championship golf course or the award winning Inverness Spa on your next visit. We have 5 wonderful restaurants on property as well. Thank you very much for visiting and we look forward to welcoming you back again.

Spent two summer night here for work.

When I got into my room (arrived late at night), it was 20 degrees hotter than the hotel hallway. "No problem" I thought, just crank the AC and it will cool off quick enough. After swatting 3 or 4 moths in my room, went to bed, not yet cool, but expecting that to change. Woke up sweating like crazy at 2:30 AM. AC making noise, but not cooling a darned thing. I called the front desk, and they suggested I open a window. I open a window, and guess what happens? You guessed it - moths come pouring in.

When I called the front desk, they sounded like they sounded less than surprised about both issues. They were nice enough and sent up a fan, but still not exactly a stellar sleeping experience.

I also ordered a room service dinner of a sandwich and french fries. Sandwich was really good. French fries were incredibly stale - inedible.

On a positive note, everybody I interacted with was incredibly nice. But overall, not a good stay.

I was very concerned to learn that your stay was disappointing. Please accept my apologies for the shortcoming that you had experienced. I’m sorry that our engineering staff wasn’t dispatched to your room to rectify the air conditioning issue; I understand how uncomfortable that must have been. Thank you for mentioning that all of your interactions with the team were pleasant ones. Our staff works hard to exceed expectations. Should you consider staying with us again, I am confident that your experience will be one that you would expect from a four diamond property. We certainly hope to have that opportunity.

From the moment we arrived we experienced wonderful service. All the staff we came in contact with from valets to check-in, restaurants, catering, housekeeping was A+
Rooms are very nice and golf course view should be requested. The course is beautiful, well kept and a good challenge!
Food in golf grill was excellent, quick. Bartenders and in particular the waitress were so friendly and remembered names after one visit. Will say the staff overall were incredible about remembering names and greeting us by name.
We hosted a dinner one night and the whole planning process was easy and professional food was delicious, service top notch, catering contact was very attentive, servers at the dinner did a great job and constantly checked to see if we needed anything etc.
The Sunday brunch is incredible.from eggs and waffles to shrimp, oysters lamp chops. Expensive but worth it

Highly recommend the Inverness for a weekend get away, business meetings, family gatherings, weddings

Room Tip: 5th floor suites. Wonderful hospitality room with breakfast foods, snacks, cocktails and appetizers
