What a blast! We brought our nephew and his son for their first-ever rafting trip on their first-ever time in Colorado. What fun! Our guide, Peyton, was the perfect guide for a raft full of young children (there were 2 famimies) Peyton made it fun and yet took control of tbe raft and kept it safe. We had just the right amount of whitewater to make the class I and II Lower Poudre trip thrilling!

We did a half day trip, 2 adults and 2 teens. We contracted w AVA but the event was run by their business partner, Rocky Mountain Adventures.

Located just outside of Fort Collins, Colorado, the Cache la Poudre River offers pristine wilderness and fun whitewater. From the locals, the Poudre is Colorado’s only river designated “Wild and Scenic.” The guide told us we were on Class III whitewater of the Lower Poudre and we had lots of fun and saw lots of great sights. Adam was our guide and he was terrific. Definitely rent the full wet suit! Highly recommend.

We do the Full-Day Poudre trips with our June orientation trips every year and Rocky Mountain Adventures always delivers! Our participants had so much fun this year. The guides keep it super fun and safe. This year we had the pleasure of going out with Cam, Drew (x2!), Chris (x2!), David, and Payton. Those guys were hilarious, and kept smiles on everyone's faces even though we had a few rainy outings. Highly recommend RMA and we will continue working with them.

River rafting the Poudre was fun, intense and a little cold. I liked RMA be because they emphasized safety! We took our two teenagers to give them a taste of an outdoor activity that is part of the Colorado experience. We all loved it! The Poudre is very technical and requires everyone to paddle. Is was a great exercise in teamwork. I recommend the lunch trip with both class 3 and 4 rapids. We rented spash jackets (suggested by the guides) which provided enough warmth in the 40 degree water so we were comfortable. We are already planning our next trip with RMA!

Thank glaciallilly
