“Favorite Comfort Food Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 March 2013

This is my girlfriend and I's favorite place to get some food to sooth the soul. I usually have a the tomato soup and grilled cheese which is amazing, especially on one of FoCo's rare rainy days. I've tried all of their desserts, and though the portions are super generous, they are all really good. If you're visiting Fort Collins, you must eat here at least once.

“Great Dessert Place---Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2013

I love The Chocolate Cafe. Everything about eating here---from the cute atmosphere to the amazing desserts---just screams decadence. It is nice that they offer some non-sweet food, too, but go for the desserts on a day when nothing will stand in your way of fully enjoying some serious chocolate.

“Chocolate Cake”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2013

Great place to grab a slice of chocolate cake after dinner! Friendly staff and great desserts. In the summer the patio is nice for people watching.

“Chocolate, chocolate and more”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2012

By the very name, the Chocolate Cafe, you know that they would have chocolate menu items which they do, but they have more. Yes, real food or not real food if you only consider chocolate a real food.

Had lunch there on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily, we made "reservations" by calling ahead. This is recommended as the place, during the winter, just a few tables in doors and there can be a waiting line. During the summer, they open an outside seating area that adds a half dozen more tables. If you are a party of more that four definitely call ahead.

The lunch items were very tasty and the deserts were to die for. All very good, just dont be in a rush to a quick bite as service was limited and while the wait staff was rushing around, they could not go any faster.

Bottom line: Come for the deserts, avg $7, and don't be in a hurry.

“Over-The-Top Desserts and Coffee”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2012

Skip dessert everywhere else in Fort Collins, this is the place, Quiet, classy, and always excellent. Actually the soups, quiche and sandwiches are very good also if that is what you are looking for. The chocolate martini is decadent.
