Of course … we live here in the Springs, so we use this as our quick get away camp. However, we always are made to feel welcome. It's fun to watch the kids right the hay wagon, the dog runs are great and clean, and overall this is one of the best KOA's around.

Room Tip: Everything you'd expect from a KOA and more. Fun events for the kids. Nice place for pets.

You are required to be outside every second you pet is out, even if they are caged. Only certain people it seems are required to follow strict rules. Price is expensive! Staff very surly!!!!! Pets can only be on 6 ft leads. While others are on at least 30 ft leads. Can't wash cars even on your own lot.

I like the Colorado Springs Campground. They have great covered tent sites, which was awesome when there was a rainstorm-kept everything nice and dry. They have a Kamping Kitchen, too, which has sinks and grills, which is really convenient. It's a little far to the bathrooms from the covered tent area, but otherwise this is a great place.

After reading some of the past reviews about this KOA, I was reluctant to stay here with our family of 7. This place is under new ownership and you can see the positive changes, renovations and upgrades already.

We stayed in a Kamper Kabin with an extra bedroom (sleeps 8) and were very happy with our experience here. The kabins are a bit close to one another, but the bathrooms are close by and newly remodeled. A/C worked great as did the heat and plenty of outlets to accomodate our large family. Real Mattresses & pillows in each kabin.

There were planned activities - free hay rides, ice cream social, movies & arts & crafts. The staff was readily available, friendly & very helpful. We loved the playground, put-put golf & the pool/hot tub. Pool was clean & warm, hot tub was clear of kids and very operational. The sports court was also fabulous.

This isn't a hotel people, it IS camping & this KOA is going to be fully booked & at capacity come this time next year. There are bugs and if you shower at prime times you will always encounter a wait & maybe cold water, though none of us 7 ever did. It's an up & coming gem - pls see pix.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting family. We were very disappointed in the place from the moment we drove up. We have stayed at other KOA's in the past and have been happy, but this place was not anything like that. The bathrooms had a really bad odor of must or mold, they were small and dirty also. The grounds were mostly dirt and gravel with patches of weeds in between sites. The few trees there were dripped sap onto my dog. We will never visit here again.

Room Tip: If you want a good nights sleep, find another campground in the area.

Stayed here many times through the years. Staff has always been friendly. Nice level spots and good facilities. We've stayed here on overnight visits only and found it to be very good for that purpose. Interstate 25 is close but not that noticeable.
