“Great food and family fun in God's country!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014 via mobile

We had a great time on opening night of the summer. The food was great (cowboy food) especially the chicken. Apple pie was great too. The show was fantastic as well. Highly recommended it!

“Crisp night out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2014

Dress warm and go expecting to have fun. We enjoyed an informative sleigh ride out to the dinner site which took a bout 20 minutes through the woods. Learned more about mules then I could have imagined. Blankets are provided and you'll want them on the return trip for sure (we went in January). Unlike the sleigh ours held about 10 people each.

Upon arrival drinks (the cocoa was welcome) and food were served promptly and the staff always made sure you had enough. Food was better then you would expect and their were no compliants at our table.Seating was at group tables as you might expect. The entertaiment was a solo guitar playing cowboy singer who covered a variety of classic country and country flavored pop. The kids really enjoyed it and the small ones were up dancing in front much of the time.

“So beautiful! Wonderful family time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2014

Wonderfully organized and family friendly! Gorgeous views with an informative tour of beautiful mountains! The mules were beautiful.
You do need to dress warm ( like you were skiing) but they have very warm blankets to cover everyone. Dinner was really delicious and the inside of the building where you have dinner is warm and cozy. The music was delightful and had us all singing along! We really enjoyed all! Our driver, Jason, was fabulous and well informed. He really made our ride enjoyable with all the historical and geological referencing.Thank you all !

“Fun, beautiful views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014

This was a great choice of a unique activity to do on our trip to Frisco. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, gladly taking pictures for our family and telling us a lot about the area on the ride. The hot chocolate and entertainment were nice, especially enjoyed by my parents who are of the same generation as the musician and recognized his old western songs. The only let down was we didn't realize until after we booked this that it wasn't an actual sleigh, but rather a wagon with runners. I would have liked a true sleigh and a longer ride. But glad we were able to enjoy this during the trip! Gorgeous views the whole time!

“Fun activity for when you're not skiing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2014

We took the hot cocoa tour and had a good time. It wasn't too long (or too short) - Great for couples. The horses (well, we had mules) pull you through a snowy scene with beautiful views of the mountains to a lodge where they pour you hot cocoa with (optional) peppermint schnapps. The live music was really good - I can't remember the man's name but he was excellent. You stay at the lodge for maybe 20 minutes and then they pull you back to the start. We had been looking for something to do while we weren't skiing, and this was a great option. I would recommend it. They give you blankets for the sleigh ride for those who don't do well in the cold!
One side note: They asked us to arrive 30 minutes early, which was completely unnecessary. We just sat around for those 30 minutes waiting...
