This was what was advertised. Not exceptional but ok and a good value. Location was good and rooms were clean. We just stayed 1 night so it met our needs. We would stay there again. Frisco has a nice downtown though not a Brekenridge or Vail.

Frisco CO: great little tourist town. Nice shops & restaurants on main street. Beautiful setting.
Frisco Lodge: great room for price. B&B. Clean enough, good food. Very convenient. Room was decorated nicely.

My husband, grown son and I lucked into an upgrade to the Frisco Lodge's Cottage, located a half-block north of the Lodge proper. Our original reservation was for a room in the North Lodge, but #16, on the ground floor, was very small for three adults, though it might be fine for two people who'd be gone skiing most of the day.

Fortunately, the next morning we were able to swap rooms, moving into the Cottage at no extra charge. It was the owner's mother's place and is just like grandma's, a little house where you feel welcome from the first moment. The Great Room has a wonderful mountain view. With a non-skier (me) in our party, the roomy, homelike setting was a perfect base for exploring Frisco. We had two groups of friends pass through town and were able to entertain them briefly.

We also got to enjoy the fabulous breakfasts at the Lodge. Except for the late Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris, this place has the BEST breakfast buffet I've ever found. Fresh mango, homemade banana bread, delicious eggs benedict, to name a few items: different choices every morning.

If our stay had been longer, I would've taken advantage of the Cottage's fully equipped kitchen, the best I've seen in a rental property. We did use the excellent (and free) washer and dryer; there was even detergent on hand. There's also a fenced yard that makes the Cottage pet-friendly for one dog. A plus!

The beds are very comfy with nice Company Store linens and matelassé bedspreads. The main bedroom has a king bed; the adjoining room has a daybed where our 6'1" son got 2 good nights' sleep. The only slight disadvantage was the walk-through bathroom (between master bedroom and great room) that would be a little awkward for a party of unrelated adults. For a family with young kids or teens, or a "girlfriend getaway" group, it might be ideal.

Frisco is a charming town. Every member of the Lodge staff was cheerful, well-informed and accommodating. All in all this is a great value, and like just about every other reviewer I'd be more than happy to become one of the Lodge's multiple repeat visitors.

Room Tip: See review title. Rooms on bottom floor of North Lodge are very small.

This is our second stay at the Frisco Lodge during our annual ski trip. It is a wonderful place to stay; it is warm, welcoming and comfortable. Susan and her staff are the ultimate hosts. Great breakfasts each day, great Apres Ski, and interesting people to meet and have engaging conversations. We will return.

Love the frisco lodge! The service is amazing. The homemade breakfasts and yummy lattes are the perfect way to start the day. After a day on the slopes, coming back to homemade soup and snacks with wine complete the day. The owner and staff are perfectly attentive and willing to do anything to personalize and perfect the stay.

We've been staying here for the past 4 or 5 years for our annual Copper Mountain ski trip. I want to echo the previous reviews regarding the great food, friendly staff and cleanliness. We have stayed in both the main lodge and the rooms out back. We prefer the main lodge. It's so easy to walk down to breakfast, happy hour, or just to relax in the comfy chairs and sofas. We are able to eat breakfast and have a wonderful latte and then to have some of the great soups, wine and cheese at happy hour and have no need to eat out elsewhere. Frisco Lodge meets all of our needs for a ski lodge and has great access to the free Summit County bus service. We look forward to our next stay.

I just completed another stay at the Frisco lodge and had another great time.Tonya,s cooking is really fabulous, the staff is welcoming and friendly, Susan the owner makes you feel like family and the other guests are interesting and friendly. This was my 5th or 6 th time staying here and each trip has been great. Some of the guests we met are already planning to meet again for next years vacation. The location is really good, being in downtown Frisc, lots of shopping and Eating places to go to within walking distance.Plus the free bus system makes getting to the ski areas and other towns a breeze. This is a great place to try a bed& breakfast !

Room Tip: The rooms in the main lodge are my favorite, they are quaint cozy and comfortable, and only steps do...
