After a drive through Rocky Mountain Park and lunch in Granby, drove down to spend a night in Frisco. I reserved a room at the Alpine Inn at the last minute, and was fortunate as it appeared everything nearby was already booked. The Inn is near downtown Frisco, and on the bus route if you don't want to drive to eat or see the town.

For the price, I paid $107 including taxes, it was a bargain. The hotel is almost new, well located and maintained. The room was comfortable and clean, no complaints. Wer heard someone complaining they had a bad night due ot the highway noise, but we were on the same side and heard minimum noise, unless you open the windows. The continental breakfast is spartan, but I didn't stay for the food.

I will stay again. Cheers!

Room Tip: Rooms on the front are quieter

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel last week during the busy holiday. The Alpine Inn was a great choice for an affordable, clean, comfortable place to stay while traveling in the Frisco-Breck area. Check-in was simple and efficient. Our room was modern, comfortable, and spotless. The only areas that need improvement are the towels (a bit small/thin for my taste) and the continental breakfast (maybe add a few more options for fruit). Still, those are awfully minor details. This is a great place, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family. Anytime we have to come back through the area, we will definitely be staying at the Alpine Inn.

Had business in Breckenridge in late June but couldn't find lodging less than $100 a night. I also require air conditioning (don't buy that business about "the rooms cool off in the evening in the high alpine environment." Total hooey, read the other reviews).
Found this little gem on Trip Advisor. I echo others' comments: easy access to hotel from I-70 or downtown Frisco, large rooms with decent queen or king beds, totally cheap rates, brand-new and very clean facility, free parking, helpful front-desk staff. Each room has its own heat and A/C controlled by a wall thermostat, which works well (sleeping temp of 68 F is PERFECT for me!).
The only drawbacks were slightly cheap construction and a bit of noise. If you are skiing or wanting to dine in downtown Frisco you will need to drive. Still, Breck is 15 minutes by car and Copper is probably 10. This is actually pretty central to most local attractions and is a tremendous value for the price. Recommended.

Room Tip: For less noise, get an upstairs room far from the check-in desk on the south side. If you have trou...

I'm fussy and just stayed at a hotel for same price in Colorado Springs that was bad. This hotel is lovely, clean, nicely decorated, good service and near Highway. 15 mins from Breckenridge. I asked for room at front as hotel backs onto busy road and was changed immediately. Very relaxing, safe and would thoroughly recommend. Indoor pool too.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper, stay at front

This hotel is off the beaten path, but it's a great value. The place is clean, quiet, has large, updated clean rooms and a comfortable bed. The rooms include a small refrigerator and a microwave. The included breakfast is something to skip - plan on going out. Overall, it's a great launching pad for all that Summit County has to offer.

Room Tip: Specify the location of the room you prefer. We made reservations far in advance, but failed to say...

Decided to give this place a try after it was remodeled, and was not disappointed. The hotel is very clean and the overall look of the hotel is very nice. As the renovations are fairly recent, it will be interesting to see if the owner keeps up with the maintenance, but from the cleanliness of the hotel, it seems like the place should hold up. The rooms were small, but comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly. The only sticking point was the breakfast. With the price of the room, I think the offering of a continental breakfast was fair and to be expected. My complaint is that there was nothing of real nutritional value, beyond apples, offered. I would have loved to have the option of some 100% whole grain bread, bagels, and/or cereal. Given the great renovations, friendly staff, good location, comfortable and clean rooms, and great value, this is definitely the place to stay in Frisco.

We found this hotel on Trip Advisor and after reading the reviews decided to give it a shot. We were very impressed. The hotel has been remodeled and/or updated and it looks fantastic. Compared to the big chain hotels located nearby, this hotel is definitely worth the price you are paying. We would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Frisco/Summit county area for a few days..
