“Uber fun”
Reviewed 3 November 2013 via mobile

As a family of 6 we had a blast all day fun with no restrictions if u do the pass. About 37 each for adults and worth the money especially if you plan on buying tix for the alpine coaster.... I promise once will not be enough. It's a scream. I'm never a lazer tag fan but tried this one and it could have been the highlight. Not to sell the caves short cause they are the reason for coming , do both if you have the time.

“Fun Family Outing”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

After a couple days of hiking, this was a nice alternative for our family. The gondola ride up is fun and the view at the top is great. We were there in the off season, so some of the rides were closed, unfortunately. The cave tours are very good and the rides that were open were a lot of fun. It's somewhat expensive ($35 a piece) for only a few rides open, but well, on vacation, it was worth it!

“Came for the Cave Tours, Loved the Thrill Rides”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

We took a family trip to Glenwood Springs earlier in the summer and there was a flier for this attraction at the hotel we were staying at (Residence Inn). The cave tour pictures drew us in, and as we had already done most of the other Glenwood attractions by our last day, we decided to go on our last day.

We went up on a Sunday morning right when it opened, and we had free reign at the park for several hours before other guests started to trickle in. The trip up the mountain on the tram is worth it just for the views during the ride and at the top of the mountain. My parents paid for the ride up the mountain and the cave tours, whereas I bought the all-inclusive wristband. In hindsight, the all-inclusive is the much better value and the way to go.

The cave tour we went on was the Kings Row tour, and it was pretty interesting, especially at the very end at the bottom of the cave, but it wasn't the highlight of the visit. Keep in mind that if you're going to do the Cave Tours you will need to lock up your large purse, or just leave it at home. The cave walls are fairly narrow and delicate.

The best part of the visit for me was definitely the Canyon Swing. I went on it several times in a row--definitely try it facing both sides (down the mountain drop as well as looking across I-70). Seeing the faces of people waiting to go on was definitely amusing!

The Eagle Zip Line was just okay for me, and the long climb up the metal structure and narrow maneuvering at the top made me fairly queasy. Only one of the two potential lines was running so the wait time was also fairly long.

The Alpine Coaster was great!! I was at first fairly conservative with pressing down on the handlebars, but it is so much fun going full-speed ahead!

Park personnel were also very friendly and seemed very interested in making sure everyone was having a good time.

Overall, I thought our visit to Glenwood Caverns was a great use of our last half-day in Glenwood Springs.

Dear KatieLee123,

We are so happy you decided to make the Adventure Park part of your Glenwood Springs vacation. We're glad you enjoyed the views, the Alpine Coaster and the Giant Canyon Swing so much -- we always recommend riding the swing at least twice to try both sides, and it sounds like you were pretty thorough in that regard! We love hearing about our guests' visits, so we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Thank you for the fantastic review, and we hope you can visit again soon!

“The Highlight of our Colorado road trip!!!”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

October 5, we landed at Denver Airport and headed towards Silverthorne , then to Glenwood Springs. We bought the $49 all inclusive Summer Fun Pass to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and took the gondola up. I can tell you that we rode $49's worth of Alpine Coaster alone!! SO MUCH FUN!! We did both cave tours (very good), the roller coaster ( too herky jerky), the zip line (much fun), and the SWING!!! The swing is literally breathtaking. Look down, and there is NOTHING below you. You are out over the edge of the canyon! Too flipping cool! We did rock climbing, 4-d theatre, and laser tag too! This park really is one of the best times I've ever had with my 9yr old son! Fantastic and recommend to everyone! Will definitely be going back!
