This is not like any other amusement park. The rides are thrilling, and use the elevation of the canyon-top location to take your breath away. Anyone who ever dreamed of soaring out over the canyon or the feeling of being launched out over it, you're going to love this place. If you aren't claustrophobic, do the wild cave tour- it is well worth it. Save your indoor activities for mid afternoon, as a quick storm is possible often around 2-3.

Dear Whilbert01,

Thank you so much for the great review! We're glad you enjoyed the cave tours so much. You're right - they offer a nice break from the summer heat since the caves remain at 52 degrees year-round. We hope you can visit us again soon to try some of the other attractions!

Get the day fun pass, well worth it to do everything. My teenage granddaughters and I (old lady of 73) enjoyed the rides and the caverns very much. Be aware if bad weather comes rides are shut down until it passes. We just went to the restaurant and had a burger while we waited.

Yes it's a little cheesy, but my 13 yr old loved every minute as did adults. Stands apart from other parks since many of rides thrill is based on mountain setting making them unique. Rides seemed safe, cave tour was interesting. Cheapest thing we did all week so I recommend.

A few days ago, we enjoyed the fun park in Breckenridge. The Glenwood Springs Adventure park is significantly less expensive and FAR better! My favorite ride was the alpine coaster -- you ride alone and control the speed. My most relaxing time of the whole vacation was when the coaster was pulled back up the hill at the end of the ride -- beautiful scenery! We took a cave tour which was included in the day pass and saw 2 of the 4D movies (only 5 minutes long) which had me laughing out loud! There are other fun rides as well -- some are pretty scary since the whole park is so high up! The food was ok, but pricey (no big surprise). The worst part of the day for me was the gondola ride from the park down to the parking lot -- it was very hot and it stops a couple of times which is unnerving for someone afraid of heights (like me). Other than that, this place is a MUST SEE, especially if you have kids, or love heights.

Dear PMath5516,

We are thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the park! The Alpine Coaster has always been one of our most popular rides, and we are glad you loved it so much. The ride back up the mountain is certainly relaxing!

We apologize that your tram ride down the mountain was not more enjoyable. It has been a hot summer! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this great review, though; we really appreciate it. We hope you can visit us again soon!
