Attraction details
Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

“Great day of rest when touring”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2014

We took our grandkids here and they loved it; not to mention grandma and pa who soothed away all the travel aches and pains. There are 2 pools...one hotter than the other but ones you can stay in for hours it seems. There is a nice lawn and shade area around the pool and an adequate refreshment stand as well. They have a pay-for slide for the kids . The bathrooms are large and clean. From here we went to Gunnison so it was nice to rest up.

“Dark - Shadows - Steam”

We always love visiting the pool, but we really enjoyed it at night. Steamy water gets cooler as you walk west to the end. Locker rooms are fairly clean and well maintained.

“Good for a soak after a long day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 January 2014

Enjoyed this after skiing, not sure I'd pay for it if it wasn't included in the hotel stay. Clean, nice facilities and loosened up my back and legs after a long day. Would go back.

“Colorado hot spring soaking at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 January 2014

A soak at the Glenwood Springs pool is essential for anyone traveling through the canyon. Definitely make a stop and soak in the pool--preferably at night and even better in winter, when the steam rises off the pool in huge clouds and creates a romantic, relaxing ambiance.
