Owner description: Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

$50 for the 3 of us to get in but it was absolutely well worth it. So fun to try the really hot spring pool...then the warm ones. They have food AND water slides...and even shade trees to enjoy the perfect family outing. It was especially fabulous after our hike to Hanging Lake just east of the pool. LOVE this!

There's a large, warm pool (90 degrees) and a smaller pool (104 degrees) and oh my gosh, they're both just so relaxing! The mountains surrounding the pools just add to the experience. Must visit if you're in the area. You can leave and get a hand stamp to come back later that day!

We enjoyed a day of relaxing and soaking at the Springs. Arriving early we grabbed some recliners and found a spot out on the grass to provide some shade. A small soft side ice chest held our drinks and snacks for the day. The water was warm and felt wonderful. The whole place was clean and well run! A nice way to spend a day!

Stay at the Hot Springs Lodge, and they give you free pool entrance. Also all the hotels in Glenwood do a ski swim and stay package. For around $100/pp you get a hotel room, lift ticket to Ski Sunlight, and a pass for the pool, that can save you a lot of money! Sunlight is a small gem of an area not far from Glenwood, they have 3 or so chairlifts and some fun terrain. Free busses run to the ski area from town everyday, that's always nice to not have to drive after a day on the hill, then a nice soak in the pool. Glenwood Springs is one of my favorite cities in the world, and the value is unmatched to any vacation destination.
