“Loved it, comfortable beds & affordable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2013

Stayed here for one night and was really happy! Everything is new, extremely clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable. We paid $79 for the night which I thought was reasonable. The views from our room were nice, it was quiet and not far out of town. If you are into strip mall kind of places, there were quite a few just a walk across the parking lot. The staff was friendly and there is a small workout room, small indoor pool and hot tub.

Wonderful, clean little rooms with great interior decoration. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Just minutes away from downtown and peaceful atmosphere. Hotel sells booze, starbucks and good food, great pool and hot tub. Will definitely come back when I'm in town again. Highly recommend this Marriott for sure...

This was a last minute family getaway, so the room was around $150 with tax a night. We live in a Denver suburb, so when we arrived, I realized this was almost a copy of what we have three minutes drive from our house. The hotel was nice, but its located outside of town on a newly developed strip mall-outside mall. So the view is Petco, Sports Authority, and Target among other little franchise shops, but my wife was happy to see the Starbucks, lol. Then a rail yard, then the mountains. Other side is new construction, might be another hotel or apartment, then the mountains. If you look past all of that, and in the right direction you can avoid seeing all that, but its there. Point is some are going to love the chain restaurants and shops that are located on the same property as the hotel is, others that come up for the scenery and don't want to eat at chain restaurants and are going to be disappointed. We were with young kids, so even though the drive is only about five, eight minutes to "downtown" and local restaurants, we drove by and it seemed like a hassle to find a parking space. The staff at the hotel was great, the rooms were clean, the pool is just to keep the kids happy and not for adults. It is four feet deep but its more for soaking and playing with the kids. For about same the price we could have stayed at Hotel Colorado, walk to downtown, walk to the hot springs, see the town. We just hate having to go on a mini "vacation" or a regular vacation and have to drive every where, especially with young kids.
I have only good things to say about the hotel itself, but location, location, location. It really depends what you are there for. We would possibly stay there again for a bargain price, other wise we will look for a place where I can forget about driving for a day or two, at least for the evening and just enjoy the town. Like I said, it was last minute (less than 24h) and we should have done better research.
Hope this helps.

My wife and I go to Glenwood Springs several times a year to enjoy the Hot Springs pool. This trip we had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard. Compared to most of the hotels in Glenwood, this one is very new. It is not as close to the pool as the more traditional hotels, but is located much closer to convenient shopping and eats which is just as important to us. The hotel itself is very stylish. modern and well decorated. Although we've enjoyed staying in the Hotel Colorado due to it's historical significance, the Courtyard has been the most comfortable in Glenwood with friendly and courteous staff. We would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

I always love staying at Courtyard by Marriott's and this stay was no exception. We LOVE the super comfy beds, the modern and stylish decor, and everything about it! We were originally only planning on staying one night, but decided that if we were going to hike, we would want to come back and relax in that super amazing bed afterwards! So, we extended our stay one more night. This seemed like a pretty new hotel, there was a nice little shopping/eating plaza within walking distance. We arrived earlier than expected and they were able to check us in early, and even give us a room on the 1st floor, so our toddler could run as much as he wanted without disturbing others. It was also pretty close to the "downtown" area of Glenwood, not walking distance, but a short little drive. Overall, amazing!

This is a very nice hotel on a newly developed side of town. The shopping center close has anything you would need. The hotel staff was very friendly and the lobby and bistro were very nice. The room was large with a small couch as a seating area. HBO on the TV was a nice touch. These accommodations were very comfortable and we liked it very much. We come to Glenwood Springs regularly and will stay here again.

Rooms were very clean and price was great. Manager went out of her way to ensure all guests were taken care of. It was so nice there was a store and a bank nearby. We had a great time at the hot springs. We enjoyed our vacation here, and plan to stay here again next time we are in town.
