Wife and children went on double extreme rafting experience. GREAT TIME..Raft guide was great and experienced. Once in a lifetime experience well paid for...The only down side is that the photos were waaaaay too expensive (bought them anyways) and the gift shop staff nickle and dimed everything that was overpriced anyways.I would recommend but stay away from shop.

“Great ride, great guide!”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

This was my first rating trip and it was very good! The first hour and a half were very exciting and fast moving. the final 30 minutes seemed a bit long and slow - but I completely enjoyed myself. Our guide, Wyatt, was very good - shared lots of tidbits of facts and made everyone comfortable.
The river was 'chocolate milk' so, next time I would go earlier next time to enjoy the clear mountain waters. Why not include one 5X7 photo in the price of ride, or sell for $10-12?
thanks!

“very fun - nice pics available at the end.”
Reviewed 17 July 2013

had a great time even though i was a bit nervous about falling out - the boat seemed very stable, and the guide knew how to keep us upright. the scenery is outstanding. nice pics available on CD for your boat after the trip.
also a nice place to change clothes afterward which was helpful since we were getting in the car to return home afterward.

“Whitewater Rafting on the Colorado”
Reviewed 17 July 2013

Have used these guys several times before and each and every time has been a great experience. They are very professionally run. There were 2 in our party that had never done anything like this, and it was a thrilling experience for them. Bella was our guide and she was wonderful. We all thought after it was finished that the 2-3 hour trip starting @ noon was the best time to go (weather had warmed up & it was very pleasant). Think I would reccommend going with family in June/July, weather is warm, water is still flowing well, but not "raging", which I think is a big plus for families with younger children. Check in was a breeze, and they helped all of us with our equipment (life jackets, paddles, etc).

The scenery on the Colorado is beautiful in that area. They take multiple pictures of you and your group while in the rapids, so no need to worry about taking a camera (we ended up purchasing the photo CD, and all of our pictures turned out great).

I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when in the area.

“Fun Kayak Renting Before the Water is Too Low!”
Reviewed 16 July 2013

Nice facility, but charges to shower afterwards. Has covered table area for lunch before going on 1pm trip. Free parking, big school buses to take you to the drop off points. Went in mid-July after rafting. The water was getting low, with slow flows. In early April this is a hot trip with the high runoff. Three or four areas of fun white water. Certainly nothing like the Snake river in Idaho or other high class running rivers. The power plant is the best drop in, but they refuse to put in there. These are just not that steerable. The wind came up 35mph with a storm coming by, and I hit a big rock. These can be nearly unmanageable with wind. There are two hot spring stop areas to get out and soak your bod. Several small sandy beach areas too. A fun area, not for thrills, but for kids and a relaxing early summer day. Do it!
