“Just a bunch of fun stuff”

Souveniers of all kinds, fun stuff, mexican jumping beans, jewelry, shirts, hats, magnets, Doc Holiday stuff, Navajo items, cups....they really have it all. Fun place to visit and get a few trinkets.

“Junk store....”
Reviewed 14 December 2013 via mobile

We tried this place based on reviews while in GS. I have no idea what everyone else is talking about---- this is the largest collection of crap, trinkets, bobbles and wooden boxes. How many personalized name signs, stickers, cards, key chains pocket knives can one have? Then they top it off with some foreign coins, moccasins for kids, and tacky Native American house decor. Thank god they did have some funny magnets so it wasn't a total waste of 20 minutes. I would go here for gift bag stuffing for a 3 year olds birthday party.... Hit the shops on the main drag. More unique, home made and creative souvenirs.

“Tons of Cool Stuff”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

Every tourist town needs a tourist shop and Sioux Villa Curio fills the bill. They have just tons of cool stuff for everyone. One big find was their collection of state magnets. My Mom collects them, but had missed a few states. She managed to pick them up here, but the surprise was the folding map that you can stick them to. It was the first time she had seen one, but always thought she needed one for organizing. So that was a great, and inexpensive, find.

“Kitsch, charm, wacky and local - Best souvenir shop in town.”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

Went here to look around and they have everything you could need in souvenirs, other stores in town do have a lot of cultural souvenirs; mugs, shot glasses, tumblers etc. But this is the only store that has it all. They have Navajo dolls, Doc Holliday memorabilia and all of the quirky fun gifts that you wouldn't be interested in unless you were on vacation. We purchased a mini bust here for a relative and enjoyed rummaging down the isles to the the joke gifts and the authentic ones as well.

If you have kids this is the best place to bring them as instead of a cup or a t-shirt, you can get them something fun to occupy themselves in the long car ride home or the the airport in Denver and it will still say Glenwood Springs on it so they can show their friends and relate their trip.

Essentially there will be a few good things for adult to look at and enough fake gum and gag gifts to keep your kids busy (and begging) to keep them happy for a bit.

“Only a boring person wouldn't love this store”
Reviewed 30 August 2012

This is a store to allow yourself time at -- fun to just browse the random merchandise.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl and there is always something new. There are some quality items (and REALLY sweet cards -- browse the "Kids Quips" section!), as well as cheesy gag gifts, but most people find unexpected gift ideas.

Make sure to pose with the figure out front -- his outfits have changed a lot over the years!
