At first look I thought "old motel". Don't judge this book by its cover though....its clean as a whistle and the owners take pride in their motel. Price is a value for this area! Beautiful landscaped areas, nice outdoor pool with 1960's vintage hardcover umbrellas (nice privacy fence around pool with mountain views), indoor pool with hot tub. Room was nice and came with fridge and microwave, could maybe use some new mattresses. Still I would stay again in a heartbeat. Very convenient to Strawberry Days festival just down the street. Breakfast was great....french toast and waffles for the toaster, bread, bagels, sweet rolls, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate...what more could you want? What a deal!

Room Tip: I liked second floor...can't hear anyone above you.

This motel is perfect. Everything is clean and up-to-date and well taken care of. The continental breakfast is not fancy but the food is fresh and good and well stocked. The location is close to many businesses in Glenwood. The staff is very helpful and willing to please. I will definitely stay here again :-)

We rolled into town without reservations and were welcomed in. The room was basic but met all of our needs for a great price. They offer a simple breakfast, there is an indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, grills and tables so you can cook your own meals, fridge and micro in rooms, and great location! We thought it was a very clean place great location for a reasonable price.

We stayed here 6/6/14-6/8/14. It is an ok place to stay. Nothing special or extra ordinary. Place was clean. Beds and pillow were ok. They have an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. They say the outdoor pool was heated. It didn't feel that heated to me. Check in was easy. They were nice but nothing extra ordinary. Check out, all I had to do was turn in my key. Nobody said anything to me as to a thank you for staying with us, or have a nice day. Just turned in my key and we left. They do also have a little picnic area with a BBQ you can use if you bring your own food. A place to store you bike or skis depending on the season. Continental breakfast is nothing special, just a quick place to grab something to eat before you head out for your day.

Had a great stay here in June 2014. My wife and I snagged a deal on the honeymoon suite, which was super fun and delightfully cheesy. The location was great, the staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was just fine (nothing spectacular, but well-stocked and satisfactorily maintained). If I had one complaint, it would be that the floors/ceiling are a bit squeaky, which magnifies all the sounds of kiddos running around overhead. If we stay in Glenwood again, we'll definitely check if the Cedar Lodge has availability first.

I just stayed at Cedar Lodge Motel and it was a terrible experience. Not only was food left in the fridge, but there was sand/dirt in the sheets and kids were running around screaming both nights. And their "deluxe" continental breakfast was quite sad. I had booked it for my boyfriend's birthday and it was not at all the getaway I had hoped for. I talked to hotel management and they said they weren't able to issue a refund/discount because I booked it through another company online. It was very frustrating. There is no way that was worth $75 per night!

This was a great place to stay super nice staff and just across the street from the bike trail. Perfect. Nothing fancy but clean and nice people. The indoor pool was refreshing after a long day of playing outdoors. Would definitely stay here again.
