“Great food and beer.”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

I had the trout on the menu which was excellent. That is always my test with restaurants is how well the fish tastes. Always the harder plates to make taste great. My girlfriend had the sirloin which was cooked to perfection and very tender. The beer is great, and in house brewed so that makes it even better. The fact that they are one of the only places to drink close by is awesome also!

“Has gone down hill- Not for me anymore”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

We have eaten here many times over many years. The beer is good, but the kitchen cannot handle the high volume that comes to eat. Yesterday, at 1:30 pm, it took about 45 minutes for simple food to get to us after we waited a while to order, and then the order was put in. The burger that I specifically asked to be medium was well done. My wife's chicken on her salad came cold. Everyone was waiting, and everyone was getting irritated. This happen to us last September also. It ruins the meal to be waiting and waiting. We will not go there again, even though we do like the place. They have done us in. There are too many other good choices in GS.

“Mixed feelings”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

I would have liked to give this a little higher rating as the food was really good but Dillon our waiter was not! We had to ask 3 times for a glass of water. We had to ask 2 times for refils on our drinks we he said he asked if we would like a refill in the first place. We were offered staws for outr drinks but he never delivered them. We had to ask 2 times for extra napkins. We also ordered a grawler of Root Beer to go and had to remind him to bring that to us as well. The placed seems very busy but Dillon kept walking by our table like he had nothing to do. So I am inclined to say that he is as little absent minded.
The food on the other hand was very good. It is a very busy place if you don't mind waiting for your table I would recommend this for a dining place, just don't sit in Dillon's area.

“Good restaurant”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

This restaurant was recommended by locals. The atmosphere is good. Loud - typical brew pup - which is great if you have small kids ;-)

Service was very slow but it was packed when we arrived around 6:30 (on a weekday night). Later it got less crowded and the waitress even had time to chat a little then.

My mom had the Salmon Pasta which she said was tasty. My husband had the Wedge Salad (which you cannot really do wrong) and I had the adult Mac and Cheese (had sausage etc in it which was rich but really good. Would order it again.

The kids meals were $7 which is okay priced for a resort town, I guess.

“Good choice for casual dinner”
Reviewed 6 June 2014 via mobile

Easy location and affordable prices made this restaurant appealing. House drafts were very well varied and tasty with a brew for anybody. Food selection was good with healthy and regional options as well as traditional pub food. Ancho ravioli and buffalo burger were very good and service was attentive and friendly.
