“Great Brews and food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 June 2014

Attached to the Hotel Denver, the Brewery is a great place to relax and watch some sports or visit with friends. They have extend their patio from our last visit, a good choice. Food is reasonable.

Make sure you check your cloth napkins. My wife had two sets with food caked to the cloth. These are sent out for laundry, and our waitress was embarrased to say the least. She was very accommodating.

Several different areas to eat in. Two bars, two dinning areas and the patio. Pick your fancy here.

Stopped while passing through the state. Fun and lively place, food was good (but not great), same with the beer. Glenwood Springs is a wonderful little town to stop in.

“Great beer!”

We just stopped in to do a tasting of all their beers. We were quite impressed and really enjoyed their dark beers, especially the Porter.

“Very nice brewpub”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

Located next to the Denver Hotel, we enjoyed a pleasant lunch here. We started out with an appetizer that became our actual meal: Colorado Joe Sliders. The three sloppy Joes were on large dinner rolls and were so unique tasting due to the blend of buffalo, beef, and elk meal. Delicious.

Unfortunately, the beer battered onion rings were not restaurant made and tasted commercial and lifeless. Come on, Glenwood Canyon, you can do much better than this!

I had a brewing company made root beer, which was delicious, especially as a float, while my wife had and loved their Great American Beer Festival Silver Metal winning Hanging Lake Honey Ale.

Also, unfortunately, our service was poor as our server was more interested in flirting with a couple of young ladies rather than doing his job. Pity, as we usually are very generous tippers.
