We dined her for dinner and thought it was above average but not great. The only negative was our waitress who had no sense of humor whatsoever. The wings were ok but I wouldn't order them again. The burgers were pretty good and the brews were good.

I have actually made 2 separate trips to Glenwood, and BOTH times, this was a must-go place to experience! The first time was many years ago and it was the best beer-cheddar soup and pretzel combo we ever ate. A really good place to take my kids to; not your "normal" bar scene. We went 2 times during that visit. On my second trip, it was just my husband and me. We had a couple of beers, from the micro-beer offerings. YUM! I've not been much of a beer drinker, but the Strawberry Ale was really a good match for me. For dinner, each had the Canyon Burgers and they were magnificent! There was a wait, but we took our beers into the hotel lobby to sit and an chat. Our waiter, Justin, was awesome and really attentive. We hope to return again.

I stopped here with my mom as we were about to start a hike on a nearby trail - a passing rainshower forced us inside. We originally wanted to sample the seasonal strawberry brew, but they just ran out. Somewhat disappointed, we decided to try two local brews - Grizzly Creek Rasberry Wheat and Hanging Lake Honey Ale. We were not disappointed! Not looking for a full meal, we decided to have a small order of nachos - this 'small' order was more than enough for two hungry hikers. The service was very good - friendly and professional. The atmosphere was great - a real mountain town-like bar with exposed brick walls and huge sliding glass doors that open to the outside. Located just across the street from the historic Glenwood Springs train station, this brew pub is a great place to relax over a beer and peoplewatch.

The service could have been better. Our server was friendly, but not very attentive. No offers of drink refills, no check back after the food was served, we asked for our check rather than waiting to see how long it would take for our server to ask.

We happened in for an afternoon beer on a Taco Tuesday and so glad we did! The cod tacos were delicious and the beer was great. Beautiful clean patio right across from the Amtrak station.
