“Worth it, but be ready to walk!”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

It is a decent hike to get to the memorial. Keep in mind that they do not know exactly where he is buried due to loss of records. They just know he is somewhere in the cemetery so you are just visiting a memorial created in his honor.

“Think About living in the 1800's”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

You have to want to go see Doc's and Kid's Gravesite.
It is about a mile UPHILL.
It is overgrown
It is untidy
There is no special parking. There is no special anything.
But,
I wouldn't have missed it for the World
It is another one off my Bucket List, and a chance to dream about earlier time's
when Men of the ilk of Doc Holliday and Kid Curry were helping in the making of
this great nation what it is today.
Congratulations to the people who are devoting their time and effort for the clean
up and fencing of this time forgotten Graveyard.

“Not touristy”
Reviewed 17 June 2014 via mobile

I wanted to do something off the beaten path & have an affinity for cemeteries. Had to park on the street below and "hike" in. The views alone are worth the climb, the cemetery is unkept & quiet. I climbed higher into the cemetery and found another monument. But again, the view was amazing. I only saw 3 other people the whole time I was there (well over an hour). A must see for those looking for something different.

“Historic Hike”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

This is a great place to visit and read the history of the headstones in the cemetry. A Short hike from the Hotel Denver, but wear comfortable sturdy shoes. Nice Trail with some good views.

“No grave for Holliday, just a memorial”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

You cannot drive up to the cemetery. You have to find a place to park on the residential streets at the trailhead. You walk up a dirt road with a fairly steep incline. There is not much shade, so it was hot going up. Like other reviewers have said, this cemetery is not kept up at all. Many of the gravestones are new, though they mark deaths from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I didn't think there was much of a view when you got to the top of the hill. Was it worth the walk up? Barely.
