“Fabulous Golf Opportunity”

Ironbridge Golf Club

Attraction details
Owner description: Known as one of the most scenic courses in Colorado, Ironbridge Club is the only 18-hole golf course in Glenwood Springs that is open to public play. Originally designed by Arthur Hills, the course was refined by Tom Lehman in 2014 and its 7,224 yards include a 495-foot gain in elevation from the pro shop to the tee on #12. More than just a day of golf, Ironbridge provides an invigorating adventure! The Ironbridge Grill offers casual, yet elevated, American fare. Even if you’re not a golfer, come enjoy lunch, dinner or cocktails on the covered patio or deck overlooking the driving range.

Ironbridge is always in excellent shape, offers a good challenge, and has some of the most amazing vistas in the valley.

“A Hidden Gem in Glenwood”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

Lehman Brothers loss is Glenwood Springs' gain. Ironbridge should have been a private club, but since Lehman is in receivership, the doors have been flung open to the public. This is a fun and challenging golf course. Happily, the bankruptcy trustee has allocated enough money to well- maintain the course. It was in great shape when I played it last.. The practice facility is the best in the valley. However, bring a bag lunch, and drinks. The place has zippo amenities. But for the money, it is a very pleasant and challenging golf course.

Very Nice and playable - but there are some long holes. Beautiful views and the rates are pretty good as well.

“Challenging course at a great price”
Reviewed 15 August 2011

We paid only $67 for a round including cart and unlimited range balls. The range had real grass tees and was in good shape. The course was in great shape and had some very challenging holes. Some of the holes require hitting over large wastelands, there is a lot of elevation changes, and some tricky greens. The views were great also. I don't know how they were able to charge so little for such a nice course. They weren't busy either, but we were there on a Monday.
