This hotel was nice, clean, well appointed furniture, and very comfortable. Almost upscale for a Best Western and much better than the Frontier Lodge in Glenwood we had origianlly booked via Trip Advisor. The staff was very helpful when I walked in just looking for a room after leaving the Frontier Lodge.

Glenwood is a wonderful mountain town and best of all has the world famous hot springs resort which is not to be missed.

This is a big Best Western and the rooms are excellent and the staff very friendly. It is close to everything and the value cannot be beat. If you go to Glenwood Springs I would not stay anywhere else. You will be pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the awesome staff.....

We traveled over 3000 miles on our trip which included a two night stay in a Las Vegas Casino.
This stop was far better than any of the others we made, the room was better equipped than the Las Vegas Casino room. The room was spacious, two seperate sinks for the bathroom a frig a microwave an ironing board and even a night light. Our room faced the main street through town and the sounds of traffic were not noticable. The entire property is covered with trees and flower beds. Parking was easy and the pool was great. The rooms had chairs outside the doors to sit and enjoy the scenery.
It had one of the best continental breakfasts we encountered on our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in an instant! It was the best stay of our trip, too bad we had to go home.

I was basically looking for the following: clean white bed linens (akin to Hampton Inn & Suites, a far cry from those gaudy how-dirty-are-you-really bedspreads) and a mini fridge in the room. We found these and much more at Best Western Antlers: clean & pleasant landscaping, large rooms, spacious bathroom area for multiple people, mini-fridge AND microwave; free wifi, pool/hot tub, proximity to attractions (block from Adventure Park tram, 2 blocks from the Hot Springs pool/resort), a decent continental breakfast, AND they even have outdoor patio seating along the balconies.

Excellent place to save a little money but still feel special!

We came to Glenwood Springs for a nice weekend trip with my parents, husband, and twin toddlers. My dad, who is great a trip planning, booked a room for us at the Best Western Antlers. We were happy that check-in was 2 p.m. as we are chronically early everywhere!

When we entered the property it was a sprawling, older lodge-style hotel. The exterior corridors were older yet well-kept. My dad and I went to check in, and we were greeted quickly but left to wait while they dealt with something on the computer and a phone call. So, check-in was slow considering we had small children waiting. The lobby area was packed with tables for the breakfast and couches, but was clean and approachable.

Our room was a double queen, which was a bit cramped for 4 adults and 2 toddlers in Pack 'n' Plays. If we stayed here again we'd try for a larger room or two rooms. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were given ample towels and pillows, too. My biggest problem was that we did not know when booking that there was no bathtub, just a walk-in shower. It was difficult to bathe my children in a shower when they are not fans of taking showers. Thank goodness it was very large! Other reviewers spoke about the noise problem. We never had that problem at all. We stayed in a room away from the main road toward the back of the property on the second floor. I would research the room types in advance as there seems to be a few different kinds.

The pool area was nice, but the jets in the hot tub were broken. The toddler pool was great for our kids, and it was nice that there were bathrooms nearby. The view of the mountain side and the tram is nice from the pool, too. There are courts and a playground (be aware that the website says there are two playgrounds, but the second "playground" is just a swing set). The only problem with the playground is that it is in the sun during the heat of the day, and it was in the upper 90s when we were there so we didn't get to try it much.

We did not eat breakfast at the free breakfast because it was really crowded both mornings, and we didn't feel like wrestling with the twins or making them wait. The nice thing I noticed was they posted a list of the food they had available. It looked like standard continental breakfast plus waffles.

Overall, this is a nice, clean, fairly affordable option in a potentially expensive area.

Room Tip: The rooms away from the main road were quiet and convenient to the pool area.
