This hotel was wonderful! From the pleasant and friendly (and not in that "fake" sense) personalities in the front office, to the absolutely SPOTLESS "comfy" room, this was the perfect place for us. My husband and I stayed here on our "date weekend" and it was so nice! Fridge and little kitchenette was wonderful for heating up our dinner leftovers the next day so we could just "stay in" for lunch, and all the space in the bathroom was great as it accommodated all the loads of "girly" stuff I drag along when we travel! The sweet lady at the front counter doubled as a travel agent for us, as she gave us maps, information, directions and suggestions about all the options we had available in the area to do or see over the weekend! The nice gentlemen at the front desk the next morning (I later found out he was the owner) impressed me as well as my husband and I sat eating our complimentary danishes because another hotel guest came in sounding kinda "whiny" about some hotel down the road that was $11 cheaper, and the owner didn't even hesitate in asking for the guest's credit card and he immediately credited the $11 back to the hotel guest's credit card. Dealing with the public can be one of the hardest things to do sometimes because of the snotty attitudes we as "customers" can get sometimes, so it definitely catches my attention when someone's able to keep their cool and make the customer happy!

Room Tip: Yes, the rooms face I-70, but my husband and I slept SO sound, I don't think either of us woke u...

Don't let the vintage exterior fool you, that is what makes it such a nice change from "big box" chain hotels. No one above us and easy in/out from room to car.
Beds/pillows comfy, with microwave, coffee pot and fridge, nice TV and very roomy makes this a great value. It was nice to get away from busy downtown but that is a short distance away and the view of the red mountains is lovely. We were off season so the complimentary breakfast was not well stocked but adequate. Were also directed to a nearby diner that had amazing food, service, prices and décor. Thumbs up.

We prefer one-story older motels that are updated. It makes hauling our belongings in and out so much easier and nobody is ever above us.
Our room here was large, clean and very comfortable. It had a small kitchenette. The TV was updated, Wi-Fi worked great.
The check-in was somewhat odd. The clerk was showing us one room but told us we would stay in another. That was not acceptable. She eventually agreed to let us have the room she was showing us.
As the motel is right on the freeway we ran the fan all night and slept well. Sitting in front of our room with a nice cup of coffee to see the sun come up on the red mountains was super.
The breakfast area is tiny and the choices were rather limited, but one could sit outside or take everything back to the room.
We took our car downtown to eat and to use the pool.

also known as America's Best Value..clean, fridge, microwave, coffeepot in room. Tv and wifi worked well. Nice room, lots of space. Very comfy. Last minute reservation for leaf viewing. Room right next to office was just fine - only one queen bed. Lots of space to spread out.

Room Tip: one double right next to office...very quiet

We stayed for 9 nights visiting Glenwood Springs. Good size room with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, storage cabinet above them, counter with additional sink outside bathroom. Small dining table with two chairs, desk with a chair, closet. Very clean, daily service. Very modest breakfast. Discount for extended stay. Transportation is required to get to all attractions in Glenwood Springs There is a local bus stop at the motel.

We stayed at this motel last May. I wrote a rave review after our time there. We just spent two nights in the motel again and we found everything to be as great as our first stay there. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is clean and newly furnished and the bed is most comfortable. It is in a good location, close to the hot springs and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again the next time we pass though Glenwood Springs.

Very clean and functional, very friendly staff. Most importantly, able to get a peaceful and comfortable nights rest. Cheapest night of our two week trip, paid more for less at several stops. Not a lot of choices for breakfast, but enough to get a start on the day. Would definitely stay here again.
