This place is adorable! Clean, friendly, competitive rates and excellent service. And the beds are extremely comfortable. The front desk service was excellent considering we showed up at 2 am. Bathrooms are huge and the wifi is free! Would definitely come back.

We travel to Glenwood Springs several times a year and have stayed at a lot of the hotels in the area. We picked the Hanging Lake Inn on this trip mainly because of the reviews on trip advisor and the comments about the Good Comfortable Beds. Being one that stays at hotels a lot, picking a Motel is out of my normal. This place is Very Clean and the beds are Great. Breakfast was a disappointment when I was greeted by Coffee & Donuts, but I have to remember that is is a Roadside Motel and not a medium to high end hotel. If you want a clean updated place to stay without much else, this will be the place. Also the rate was attractive compared to the higher end places in the area, we went to town and ate a first rate breakfast. Will stay again.

The wife and I just returned from a two night stay at Hanging Lake Inn for our get away in Glenwood Springs. Things couldn't have worked out better. We got a great rate for our room from hotels.com and decided to give this place a try. The room we got was a king bed room. It had lots of room and the pillow top bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice as there was a sink inside and outside of the bathroom entry. the room was very clean and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. This makes it very good for a couple. The location was great as well. there is a continental breakfast available and the coffee was great but the overall selections of food was a little weak.but taking in consideration the value (price) of a room it is more than adequate. I would say this is a great bang for your buck and not only would we stay here again I would recommend this motel to others. The only negative was that the front side of all the rooms faces the highway and road noise is present during the busy times the road is being used heavily. But with the heater 'on' and the fan going one could not hear the road at all.

Room Tip: All appear to be equal as far as location goes. Upper floor may have a better view of the river and...

We stayed 2 nights on a trip up from Denver. Spotlessly clean, excellent beds and staff were terrific. Good coffee in the morning, very important! I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area, as an excellent value.

They are open 24 hours, which made check-in convenient since we arrived late from winter traffic. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was large, with a king sized bed, dining table, kitchenette, and bathroom area. We were very pleased with the value of Hanging Lake Inn.

Room Tip: Parking lot was located right outside our room, making transportation of luggage easy in the snow.

We have stayed in 5 star and -3 star. This place is awesome! Sota family operation, but I put it with any casino resort as far as room and staff. On our way from Florida to Vegas and Hollywood through the Rockies in January. Stopped here for the night, so nice we stayed an extra day. Best view in town, better than name brand motels, Much better than any. I can`t imagine anyone having a bad experience here. The rate is like 60 buck range. I highly recommend this place enough to give my name, Randy Kimbrough. Enjoy your stay with an awesome view. Donuts, cereal, and coffee and juice with bagel.(All you need). Basics only for food but wonderful feel and rooms are completely spotless. I`d drive from Florida just to spend time here. All the other motels are below elevation and confined to a town type area with a lot less amazing view this place offers. Fantastic bed. Comparable with any major resort bed. Motel really reflect allot of hard work.A +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Way 2 go , happy family atmosphere you guys have. Thanx for a great stay !

Room Tip: All rooms have same view. Book here, you wont be disappointed. See you`ll in Vegas.

While traveling through CO, we were most fortunate to have found this Inn through tripadvisor. The usual chains were very expensive in this area because this is ski country. This little, privately owned inn has so much going for it! Firstly, you are greeted by a very warm, friendly lady. Secondly, this is a completely renovated motel-style accommodation so you pull your car up right in front of your room. (A real plus for seniors). And thirdly, the place is immaculate with the most comfortable pillowtop bed you could ask for with wonderful down comforters on top. Just book through their website to get the best price, which is truly a bargain for all this Inn has to offer. They also served a real nice continental breakfast. You won't regret staying here. We hated to leave this morning!

Room Tip: We were on the first floor on the end and it was very quiet. We did not hear any other guests or tr...
