“The new room is really pretty”
Reviewed 14 December 2011

The value for the experience is really great. We had breakfast, pool and gift shop discount all included in the price of the room. The newly remodeled room - in a unique shape was a special touch. The bed was super comfortable with lovely beddings. The toiletries were nice quality and the bathroom included a nice quality blow dryer. The decor of the room was pleasing and the room included a nice size safe, fridge, and microwave. The room additionally included a nice set up for computer usage and docking station for the iphone. This was the nicest room I have seen in a really long time.

We went up on the train from Denver for a weekend spa package. We had a lovely two room suite with a view of the hot springs pool. The lodge was just newly remodeled with part of the hotel still undone. It was a mixed experience. The staff was not anymore helpful than they needed to be.....didn't get the sense they knew much about excellent customer service.
We did not want the complimentary champagne that came with our suite. When we asked for bottled water at the desk we were told it was for sale in the vending machine. the package included breakfast at the Hot Springs Grill, much more like a cafeteria with paper plates and plastic spoons etc. Not what we expected for what we paid. The highlight was the pool and the Spa. Travel half of each month..so usually find service fine wherever I am. Not at the Glenwood Springs Lodge.

My husband treated me to a two night stay at the Glenwoodsprings Lodge & Pool. The lodge did an awesome job at setting up rose petals on the bed and a dozen roses in a vase. Plus champagne and glasses. And a beautiful clean, updated room. After our wonderful stay we checked out of the lodge, not knowing I forgot our brand new iPad 2 in the room! The maid turned it in and sent it to us within that very same day! I'm so happy they were honest and helpful. This place is beautiful and has great customer service. It's worth every penny! A+

Room Tip: South side has best view of pool, mountains and town.

The Hot Springs Lodge has the best deal in town. You get unlimited pool access, breakfast and a lovely recently remodeled room. I never even bother to look elsewhere any more. I go a couple of times a month if I can to enjoy teh pool and get a treatment at the Spa of the Rockies. Mike truly does the BEST reflexology I have ever experienced.

Room Tip: For a more quiet stay, ask for an east or west room.

My family visited Glenwood Hot Springs for my daughter's birthday. Every expectation was met above and beyond. We travel with two kids under the age of 6 and Grandma, so all of the extra ammenities that the Lodge offered were wonderful. The rooms, the pool, the grill were all great. The thing that impressed me the most were the employee attitudes, everyone was smiling, pleasant, professional and helpful! Thank You for a wonderful weekend.

Our 36th anniversary and we went to relax and enjoy. The Lodge, Spa, Pool, cafe, etc nothing but total customer service. The rooms are newly redone and very nice with all the ammenities. Everyone had a hello and a smile no matter the circumstance. Because it was our anniversay they put Champagne and Chocolates in our room...really nice touch. Shelby, Dawn, Tammy and Loretta~Thank you. We also visited the Spa of the Rockies (which is beautiful) for a most enjoyable massage. Thank you Pam for your help. And Jan at the pool...lots of fun chatting with you and thank you for being so helpful. We also decided to brave the elements and rode our bikes up the canyon. Thanks to Jamie for hauling our bikes out so we could freeze in the 34 degree temp. and in the shade of the canyon I think it was probably about 20! Ya Gotta Go!

Room Tip: In the winter the southside is warmer.

If you do not ski, but want to go to the mountains, The Lodge is the place to stay. The rooms are redone and very nice ... The shower is great as it is above your head (what a concept). The Hot Springs Pool is included in the price of the room and is just across the road. Even on cold days it is an easy walk. The pool is so cool with the fog swirling around your head to keep you nice and toasty. There are very good restaurants and breweries around the city. My family had a wonderful time.

Room Tip: The rooms with balconies are the best.
