When we first checked in around 10:30pm we requested a room on the first floor because we have two dogs and we didn't want to disturb other guests walking the dogs and it would have been more convenient for us. The front desk agent told us (rudely), "No, I have a very nice newly remodeled room on the 3rd floor." We got up to our room.... There was blood and a tear on the comforter, there was a large tear in the shower curtain and there was dark brown splatter to the right of the sink, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom and the bedroom. We called the front desk to ask for another comforter and she said there was nothing she could do for us for us until morning. So, we stripped the bedding down to the fitted sheet and brought our own blankets up to the room. The next morning I called for a razor and the front desk agent said I had to come down to the front desk to get it. When I came to the front desk and asked for the razor again, she said she would be right back. She came back with the razor, but she refused to give me the razor and said..."The GM would like to talk to you". The GM (Erin) started off nice and asked us about the blood and tear, and I explained about the tear in the shower curtain and dark splatter. She immediately gets offended and rude and states..." Well you are NOT supposed to be on the third floor any, YOU HAVE DOGS!" I explained we requested the first floor and her front desk agent refused to put us on the first floor. To make a LONG story short this GM was extremely condescending, rude and tried to kick us out because HER front staff made the mistake of putting us (with dogs) on a newly renovated floor. Needless to say, she was so HORRIBLE. The only staff that had any kind of good customer service were the housekeepers. I work in the hotel industry and I would or could NEVER fathom speaking or treating a guest the way we were treated! Will NEVER go back! I wouldn't of even given it a 1 star but it wouldn't let me submit without it :
