This is a good place to eat. They have a big menu and you're certain to find something you will like. We ate here three times over our stay in Golden. Sunday brunch, unfortunately, we had a poor waiter who got many things wrong. Otherwise everything went well.

I have lived in Golden since 2005, and have been to Table Mountain Inn numerous times. There are a few servers who have been there forever, and are wonderful, but the majority of the staff is unfriendly, and seem to despise their jobs. I don't know if it is management or what, but when so many employees are so unhappy, you have to wonder. Table Mountain is so quintessentially Colorado, we take out of town guests there frequently, but I have been embarrassed by the lack of service one too many times. .

This was our absolute favorite restaurant to visit while we lived in Golden. If you are a foodie, you will like the variety that the menu has to offer. There are quite a few slow-cooked meat entrees that are to die for. We love the dessert menu, and tried every single dessert on the menu during the two years we lived in Golden. Fantastic southwestern cuisine! You won't regret it! This is also a good place to take large groups. They are very accommodating.

Had a Bison Burger here with sweet potato fries.. it was SO GOOD and juicy, not overcooked. The fries were hot and the serving more than I could finish. It was so good, we had to go again for the exact same order! The atmosphere is relaxed, southwestern type decor with those western style hanker chiefs as table napkins. We like to go out to lunch after the busy lunch crowds leave. The order is quicker, the food hotter and the service seems less hectic and friendlier. If we visit Golden again, we will definitely come here for a meal. They have an outside patio area along the main road, both inside and out has a laid back atmosphere. The School of Mines college is a block away. We were there when parents were in town dropping off their kids. The restaurant is connected to the hotel. I hear the ribs are fabulous but we just had to try something different. Next visit, we'll order ribs and give another review.

Table Mountain Grill
Is a very nice looking restaurant with a nice southwestern flair. Very clear and good service, we started off with a couple of margarita and they were tasty if a little weak. We order the cheese dip with crispy pita and tortillas and the guacamole with tri-color corn chips. The guacamole was tasty but the cheese dip was a little cold and had to be reheated,
We order the Sedona Salmon salad, it was lightly spiced and served over mixed lettuces with a margarita vinaigrette it was moist and cooked to perfection. Chili relleno it was packed with melted cheese and batter dipped and fried and served over a cooked salsa and was served with beads and rice. The relleno was good but the rice was cold and the black beans were very dry and not to warm. Shrimp tacos were another choice, the tacos were good and the jicama slaw gave it a nice crunch. Again the bean and rice were cold and dry. Our last order was a Bison Burger, it was cooked properly and came with sweet potato fries and they were very good also. Our service was good, but at the end we had to wait for our check and changes. I would try it again but hope the food would be hot and not dried out
