We stayed at this hotel on August 3rd and August 9th. This review is for Aug. 3rd. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The mini-store in the hotel was lacking supplies, treats, and frozen goodies. We typically get ice cream, newspapers, and other treats from the hotel to enjoy after dinner, but had to run to City Market to get these items. The beds were okay but the couch in the living room was horrible as its side arms were about 4 feet high and you could not rest your arms on them. Too, it was a sofa bed which was very hard to sit on as a couch. We had to pull out the dining room chairs to sit on to watch the television. Breakfast the next day was awful as it was served barely luke warm, the OJ was horrible and tasted like a poor mix of something, while the coffee was watery and greasy. There were chairs missing from several tables so people had to eat at the bar, which had about 6 high bar stools, or go to their room to eat. If you stay here, search out somewhere else to have breakfast the next morning. We eventually went to Starbucks for a coffee and breakfast before we left town.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Grand Junction. They have everything you need to be comfortable. We have done laundry here when we stay since we travel on motorcycles. It is a bit pricey to do it here but the facilities are clean. You have some great restaurants and fun shopping just outside the door of the hotel. Very close to the Monument which is a must!

We were lucky enough to stop in Grand Junction on the evening of the summer's first Farmer's Market - held on Thursday evenings on Main Street - but even so, there would have been plenty to hold our attention after checking in.

This recently renovated hotel is easy to find (immediately off the 50/70 main drag) and the room was indeed a luxurious suite with a true separate bedroom apart from the living and dining area. This would be a great place to stay if you needed to be in town for a few days and didn't want to eat out every meal. The galley-style kitchen had a full-sized frig, and both a cooktop and small oven, in addition to a microwave - all new, clean and in good condition.

The indoor pool and outdoor Jacuzzi are both nice-sized and clean, but the hours are limited, so double-check that if a good soak is an important part of your evening wind-down activities. Free parking, friendly and helpful staff, and a comfy bed all helped make our stay a nice one.

But the real charm of this hotel is its immediate proximity to GJ's lovely Main Street scene. An easy stroll includes lots of restaurants, bars, and shops - retail and antique - that can keep you occupied outside your hotel room for the evening. An interesting surprise was the remarkable job GJ has done integrating art into the creative curves of the street itself.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing Main Street - much more interesting view than the back parking lot!

First off I hate parking fees. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable.

The sound travels unfortunately. We were right above the pool and you could hear a lot of noise from it. The folks above us were running around until after 11 and it seemed to shake the room. Also when they flushed I thought I was going to get an unpleasant bath. Also there could have been more outlets to charge phones and use medical equipment.

Food the next morning was very good and all of the staff we encountered were pleasant.

Staying at this hotel was a last-minute arrangement after traveling all day, but we could not have found a better spot to relax, refresh, and regroup for the rest of our long journey. The hotel is very clean, the staff was friendly, and the room was very comfortable. We had a pleasant walk around the downtown area and ate at the Rockslide Brewery (which is just a short walk). A very special shout-out to Katy (and another nice young lady on duty when we came in, but forgot her name!)at the front desk, John in maintenance, and the kind women working the breakfast area for their kindness and friendly demeanor. All in all, this was a pleasant experience and our family will be coming here again when we're in the area.

Super nice Marriott property. Clean, great location, good beds. The location is perfect for taking a stroll downtown. I was upgraded to a suite and it was sweet! A perfect stay. Stop across the street at Springhill for happy hour. Safe parking lot too
