We stayed in Grand Lake this year, because we were unable to get to Estes Park, where our original reservations were, due to the floods in the Estes Park area. We have eaten at Grand Pizza for many years and have enjoyed many pizzas and sandwiches. While we were staying there this year, we went to Grand Pizza to eat lunch. We were trying to decide on the pizza or sandwiches, and we ended up eating sandwiches. We had the Italian Sandwich, and it was really big and delicious. I could not eat all of mine, because of the size. There was plenty of meat, cheese, and other yummy things to make this a delightful sandwich.
We had a great wait person also. She was kind, courteous, and attentive to our needs. We enjoy the atmosphere at Grand Pizza and we enjoy the consistency of the taste and quality of the food. It is filling, and it is always delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for others.
We started eating at the original Grand Pizza back in the late 70's or early 80's. It was good at the beginning and it is good now. There are a couple of days a week that they "close shop", so please pay close attention to those days on the sign outside, so that you do not make a long drive from Estes Park or somewhere else and then find out they are closed. They do have a website on the internet that you can go to and it has a menu and a telephone number in case you might need to call them for information.
All in all, it is a great place to eat. Prices are good, and food is also.
