“Awesome customer service”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

Michelle at the front desk went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. She (and all the gals there) have always been smiling, friendly and happy to help. They even had freshly baked and still hot chocolate chip cookies last time I was there.

My check in date was on Sept 6th and ended on the morning of the 17th.
Due to unfortunate circumstances my 3 day stay quickly became a week + stay including flooding all through many areas of Colorado.
I was initially greated by a young lady named Courtney who after watching her work with other employees and problem solve situations and unforseen circumstances should no doubt be the Manager or General manager of this or any hotel and would be delighted to have her or any of your employees deal directly with any or all customers at my bussiness.
The entire staff of front desk employees are friendly, well trained, professional, dedicated, team orienteted, and passionate about the hotel and the guests.
My entire week here turned into a nightmare however the Clarion and its employees, including the cleaning staff made me feel at home and comfortable regardless of the entire world falling apart outside of the hotel doors. If any of the hotel staff had personal problems going on in their lives outside of the Clarion, not one person might have guessed. The desk and cleaning staff "ALWAYS" had a smile on their faces.
I did have the unfortunate and unpleasant experience of dealing with the Head manager on a couple occasions and would never allow her to deal with any customer at my place of bussiness.
She was rude, short, and extremely unpleasant. It is my opinion that she brings her homelife to the Clarion with her.
When she was on site she was very rude to her employees as well and I was thankfull for them
that she was rarely here during my weeks stay. The front desk employees worked well as a team without her and handled themselves with great dignity and amazing teamwork.
The desk employees I had the pleasure of meeting and who made my stay here comforting were........
Alyssa,Ashley,Courtney,Jerrod,
Kyrie,Meagan,Michelle,&Rochelle.
Included in this list would be the entire cleaning staff which I did not get names but talked to one or two of them everyday.Very hard workers who are the ones who give your guests the"This place is nice"feeling as soon as a guest opens the door to their room. These young ladies "ALWAYS" had a smile on their faces.
The restaurant and bar staff were pleasant and professional also if they are actual employees of the Clarion.I dont have much of a reveiw for them since I do not drink yet I would bet they are as passionate and professional about their jobs as the employees listed above.
Well done Clarion owners.
I would do whatever it takes to keep your employees.Hard to find good help and people who work well as a team.

I had stayed at this hotel 2 years previously and it left a lot to be desired. I had hoped that time brough improvements - but that was not the case. Some items that we have come to expect in rooms were not available - but if you asked they would take from one room and bring it to you. The flat screen tv's were nice and heat and air worked. Carpet is 2 years older and even more wear. Pool was down - again - the security doors at the end of the halls are either broken so you cannot close let alone lock, or had the handles taken off entirely. They couldn't find a package that I had delievered to myself at this address. If you are bothered by train noises - you might not like this. I don't mind. They have long term oil and gas workers there who sit by the entrances till quite late and sometimes it was hard to find a place to park if the hotel is full. Beds appeared clean but lots of deffered maintenace like - holes in wall, handles on the door backward, mold in the bathrooms, leftover food in fridge from previous occupent. It appears that they don't have enough repair staff and the rooms are always full with the oil workers that they just to patch rather than fix.

Room Tip: If you are bothered by train noise you want rooms as close to the main desk as possible rather than...

We were guests at the Clarion in Greeley, CO last month. This hotel is centrally located within walking distance to really great restaurants, etc. in downtown Greeley. We were very pleased with the staff there, particularly Rochelle at the front desk and Martina Martinez, cook at the restaurant within the hotel.

We checked in on June 29th,2013 and checked out the next day. The breakfast attendant was terrible. The cook was friendly even though the food was not prepared on time, but the breakfast attendant had very terrible manners. She practically yelled at us for her lack of good service. Her sarcasm was unbearable and she also had no name tag, so we did not get her name. RUDEST person ever! If it were up to us we would not have hired such a rude person.

Room Tip: Wouldn't recommend it, really loud music playing somewhere and rooms were not nice.

Pros:
Small courtyard with grass, perfect for a small to medium dog to get some exercise and it has table/chairs for the humans. Dogs are an extra $20 per night - very affordable!

The bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning was not loud. Water pressure was outstanding.

The restaurant had good food and was reasonably priced for dinner. The free breakfast was great! Eggs with cheese (not those rubber discs some places serve), sausage links, french toast, hashbrowns, toast, danish, fresh fruit, cereal, several kinds of juice, etc.

The pool was a nice size and clean. The fitness center was better than average - both in size and in choice of equipment. The lounge/lobby area was large and looked comfortable but I did not use it.

The bathroom had a large/deep tub perfect for soaking in a bubble bath with a glass of wine and a good book!

Cons:
When I first walked in the room it smelled damp/musty - but 5 minutes of air conditioning and it was fine.

I was in room 230 and my bathtub plug switch did not work. I improvised and used the plastic bag from the ice bucket and a jar of lotion to weight it down and enjoyed my soak, but you might want to make sure yours works before you plan to luxuriate. :)
