Excellent comfort food. Always popular so there's a wait, but worth it. Several types of pancakes and waffles with eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc.

“Very disappointed”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

Over the years we have always enjoyed this breakfast spot. Three of us went for a late breakfast and two ordered a special waffle. They were very disappointed when it was just the waffle and a tin of sauce to put over it. In the past it would have some fruit on the side. I had the mountain high, bisquit and gravy. It was good but the home fries we we'll below par. There was a lot of small pieces of potato and lots of over fried onions. With quite few other breakfast places in Denver not sure when we will come back

“Yum...”

Best pancakes on the planet. I like mine with Lingonberries. Where else can you get Lingonberries? No where in Denver that I know! They have everything for breakfast and it is all amazing!

Be prepared to wait. If you don't want to wait, don't go. I will have one less person waiting in front of me.

“Great for breakfast or brunch”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

This is reasonably priced, basic American style breakfast food, with large serving sizes and good quality. Expect pancakes with almost all selections, but you can substitute toast if you prefer. The bacon and other breakfast meats are very good. The omelets are huge, so plan on sharing those.

“Good for what it is.”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

Solid menu, friendly service, overpriced & overcrowded. Coupled with giant size entrees and it's a combo that holds little appeal to me. That said, PH almost always has a line, and that speaks for itself. For a big, homey, post-workout carb-fest, PH is a good choice.
