We enjoyed the pizza here. Not the best in the world but still very good. They have a giant family size the takes up the entire table. Good prices. Service was friendly and great. We would eat here again.

9PM on a Sunday night at the motel and two starving teen-aged children and my 20 year-old son with me on the road trip in and we were HUNGRY. We all decided that we did NOT want to do fast-food, but wanted to sit down in a restaurant for a late dinner. A quick search of the Google map showed that all of the restaurants with a favorable review within a short walk weren't open at that hour on a Sunday, so I widened the search area out to about a 5 minute drive away and hit upon Anthony's.

Great choice as it turned out. Easy to find on the end of neighborhood strip mall complex with easy parking access. The decor was plain, but had a pizza-joint feel about it, not bad for a strip mall-type location that obviously did a lot of delivery out of the location, yet there was booth and table space to accommodate about 50 patrons. We walked in to their location and the first thing I noticed as I walked up to the counter is that they used real pizza ovens, not those belt ovens that kick the pizzas through like a car through a car wash. The menu is a build your own pie type, with no house combination pizzas. We debated between slices and getting a pizza to split between us and decided to go with the pizza.

The first neat thing about the menu is that for dining-in vs. take-out or delivery is that there is an automatic upgrade of 2" in pizza size for free. They only list two sizes on their menu, 14" and 18", but if you dine in you get a 16" or a monster 20" pizza instead of the 14" or 18" for delivery! We decided on a 14" (16") and went half and half with three items on each half, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and black olive for my vegetarian daughter and half artichoke hearts, grilled chicken and bacon for us guys, all on a marinara sauce base. With two different base sauces (Alfredo and marinara) and a huge selection of veggies and meats to choose from the possibilities are nearly endless.

We sat down at a table near the windows on the west side of the dining room and got to witness the most spectacular fiery red sunset as the sun dipped through the rain clouds and broke into the open before setting behind the Front Range. We then watched the cook hand toss the dough for our pizza and prepare it and pop it into the oven. The pizza and cheese bread was brought to our table in about 15 minutes after placing our order. Even though we were there during the last hour before closing and one of only 3 or 4 groups eating, the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful from ordering to when we left.

The pizza was killer, great tasting sauce, good portions on the toppings, plenty of cheese and the crust was so New York style! The eight slices and the cheese bread were gone nearly instantly! With drinks, the total was about $25, not bad to feed four. Our only regret was that afterwards we agreed we should have gotten the 20" pizza instead of the 16" for about $4 more!

Locally owned with15 locations in the Denver Metro area, next time we go out to Denver to visit family we will make sure to find one near our relatives' house and go to an Anthony's with them!

Our order arrived on time, but was missing part of the order. Called them back, and they didn't seem to concerned that they messed up the order.

It was recommended to us by our hotel for their great pizza. We would have ordered pizza from here two nights earlier, but they didn't deliver after 9:30 or 10 (we called two places for delivery just after 10 pm.)

We ordered pasta. Our noodles were very soggy and the sauce had no flavor to it. We ended up throwing away half of our meals.

My family decided to order three separate slices instead of a whole pizza. It was nice we could order what we wanted and one slice was plenty. The cheesy bread was good as well. We took this as take out, so didn't stay too long.

Nothing special about this place really but as long as the Pizza is good I'm happy. We had 6 kids and 4 adults in our party - this place is very kid friendly. Service is very good.
