We recently stayed two nights to visit Hot Sulphor Springs. The room was clean, but did need some updating. The light switch in the main room would only stay on in a certain place and a burner in the kitchen did not heat up to a high temperature. The owner was very nice and tried to make sure we had a good experience. The free robes and towels were a nice touch.

My daughter and I stayed at Ute motel. Very clean, staff nice, helpful and friendly. Robes and towels to use at springs were great. We will be back. Good TV with HBO and many channels at no extra charge. we usually stay at big chain hotels. This was a refreshing change.

We stayed 4 nights and it was great. My sister and her husband stayed in the only room with a "kitchen area" so we were able to make burgers and more right in the room. Ours had a door to the same kind of room but it was locked. The walls are really thin but that didn't bother us. The tv was tiny but they had HBO so there was plenty to watch. We bought discounted hot springs tickets in the office and they gave us bigger towels for free to take with us. They are dog friendly for a 1 time fee of $10! Owner was very friendly.

We have stayed here four times in the past seven years. Most of the units have two bedrooms with three beds, making it perfect for our family of four. The units are clean and simple. I love the 1950s touches: beautiful old pine woodwork, chrome bathroom fittings, nice old tiles. The beds are just fine. The people who run the place are wonderful characters out of an old western novel. What I like is they provide exactly what you need in the little town of Hot Sulphur Springs: a warm bed, free tea and coffee, free towels and bathrobes to use at the hot springs, in-room fridge and microwave, and decent reading lamps. We got discounted hot springs tickets from them, too.

The motel is far enough from the busy train tracks that you don't hear the trains at night. Our unit was pleasantly warm even though it was 17 degrees below zero outside that night!

Room Tip: Call the place up and tell 'em what you need.

The staff was very friendly and provided us with towels and robes for the springs. We stayed in the king suite, which was quite large. The room was in the back, so we didn't hear much of the traffic. Very good value for the size.
