This room was directly above the hot tub, which was noisy during our stay, although the noise did quiet down consistently after 9 PM. The hair dryer did not work - we were thankful we had brought our own. But otherwise the room was comfortable and a nice retreat between time on the slopes. We enjoyed eating several meals in and seeing the fireworks from our window.
The property was right at the base of the slopes where we have stayed before. The location is ideal. The place is fine, except for the frayed carpet between the hallway and kitchen area where the carpet tacks are hidden but exposed (and painful the first time).
The mgmt. was less than ideal. We arrived on a Monday night ready to ski in the morning. Problem was there was only one condo key card (my wife and I ski at different levels so separate). And the ski locker keys didn't work. We called the mgmt. company that night (1st time). We were told we should have stopped by to check in and pick up a welcome packet (?) even though we were told to go straight to the condo and keys would be in lock box. We were told the person who booked our reservation no longer worked there. Not sure why that mattered because we did what we were told which was go to the condo no need to check in. But no apology for the inconvenience, it was our fault for not knowing we were told the wrong thing. We told them about the ski locker too. Were told their "guy" would be out first thing in the morning at 8am with the key and fix the locker; timing being critical because we wanted to hit the slopes since only had 3 days of skiing.
Tuesday: 8:45am rolls around and nothing. We call the company (2nd time) and are told by the morning person they have nothing from the night girl about us calling and no notes to come to the condo with keys or to fix the locker. They apologize and said will send their guy "right over". 9:45am we call the company (3rd time) and they say the guy they were sending "right over" actually hasn't called in (not sure how you set expectations without knowing if someone is actually available). We tell them we are hitting the slopes (we only have 3 days) and just slide the keys under the door.
We got the additional key, just had to coordinate by phone on the mountain day 1 (which you know is not easy with limited phone signals). But ski locker never fixed. Paid $15/night to have stored at lifts so as not to bring them into the condo and scrape walls or anything. No follow up or explanation. We were told by the on sight information desk that the lockers had all been re-keyed recently. How the mgmt. company did not know that is beyond me. The locker was open and empty, just couldn't lock it. Didn't want to risk loss of our equipment.
On check out, we tried to follow the information we were provided and leave the keys in the lock box. But the next visitors keys were in there so they wouldn't fit. We called the office and after the run around, told had to return the keys to the office in Frisco, not at all convenient. But we did so.
Bottom line is the condo was fine (other than the exposed carpet tacks; lack of usable ski locker; and lack of wifi which we didn't pay attention to in advance). But I will not lease a property from this mgmt. company again. We have always had responsive and great experiences in Keystone with mgmt. companies but this one is an outlier.
