“Cosy and welcoming”
Reviewed 7 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

This property was situated perfectly just yards from the beach and coastal path. Bungalow itself was really spacious with three good sized bedrooms and a large kitchen with all the amenities you could ask for. I particularly like the garden and how it wrapped around the side of the property giving you a view of the sea. Ideal to relax on a warm evening with a glass of wine! The property is dog friendly and you can leave your dogs to wander around the garden safely.
Although we had some sunshine, it was a little hit and miss and cool in the evenings but the heating soon warmed up the whole place.
All in all a very enjoyable holiday for my husband I and our two dogs.
Thank you Sandra for the use of your holiday home.

Hi Sue, what can I say. Thank you for your brilliant review of Meadowcroft.
The garden is one of the things that we fell in love with on our first viewing. The view from the arbour at the far end of the garden is just lovely. I have sat there many a night and watched the sun go down over the sea. My grandson likes to watch the ferries disappear over the horizon. One day asking how far do the boats fall, bless.
When our guests enjoy our bungalow as much as me, it puts a smile on face. So thank you again. I hope we shall see you again soon.

“Excellent location well equipped ”
Reviewed 6 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Our second visit to this bungalow.
Well presented in a beautiful location. Literally a stones throw to the beach. The off road parking and the private garden are welcomed features. Well equipped for a family and dogs (we have 2 labs). A lovely big kitchen and ample space for everyone to sit down to dinner together.

A huge hall way with plenty of space for boots, welly’s and beach accessories.

Owners are helpful and easy to contact if needed. Thank you Sandra a lovely base for a fab holiday.

“Fantastic Stay With The Grandparents and Dogs”
Reviewed 26 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

Tick, Tick and Tick again! Couldn't fault our stay! Well equipment with everything you need and more. The secure garden and beach less than 100m away was perfect for our dogs - Including the beautiful coastal way yards away from the Bungalow. If you enjoy good food (lobster Pot Restaurant down the road) walks from the front door, beautiful location with views, then church bay is the place for you. Sandra, the owner was very quick and efficient with responding to our questions. Very comfortable lounge, made even more enjoyable relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine, watching the satellite TV. Would definitely recommend - Thank you Sandra for a great and enjoyable stay!

Hi Owen, Wow what a wonderful review. I thank you so much for all the detail. Having the Lobster next door to the bungalow is ideal for all our guests. I am glad the dogs enjoyed the lovely beach at Church Bay. The country side is also a bonus. We would love to have you all back to stay again soon.

Kind regards Sandra

A well presented and equipped self catering bungalow. Excellent location and perfect for kids and dogs. Sandra went above and beyond to ensure that we had a thoroughly relaxing stay. The secure garden is great for kids and dogs and the off road parking is an added bonus. We were literally a stone's throw from the beach and the fabulous Wavecrest Café. The bungalow was clean and well maintained and the location was just perfect. We had a thoroughly relaxing holiday and have already booked to return. We would not hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you. The Hayes family.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. We welcome you back at Meadowcroft Church Bay.
The garden is one of the many things we fell in love with at the bungalow when we first went to view it many years ago, but also the space inside. It is in a convient place for good food twhen you dont feel like cooking But best of all the beach 2 min walk away. We are glad to share this wonderful place with people like yourself to enjoy a restful
break. Again thank you so much for letting us know you had a great time at Meadowcroft.

Stayed here for a week. Been here a few times now and we love it everytime we go. We always bring the two collie dogs with us. 3 decent sized bedrooms, one has a bunk bed for children, one has two seperate beds in it and the main bedroom has a really big bed. Each room is clean and tidy when you arrive. The kitchens great with a fridge, oven, freezer and cutlery. Everything you need is in this cottage from an iron to a hoover. It really is a beautiful place to stay over. 10/10 rating for us and we go as a family of four with 2 dogs. Its a dog friendly place to stay!!

“Perfect cottage by the sea”
Reviewed 5 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Stayed here for a week and it was everything we wanted, 2 minutes walk from the beach, amazing sunsets, enclosed garden for the dog to roam free, peace and quiet. We loved watching the birds on the bird table and sitting in the lovely well kept garden. The cottage was spotless and well laid out.
We did have an issue with the kettle as it seemed like it was on its last legs and so we just used a saucepan for brews. That was our only niggle really, so its not really an issue. We did accidentally leave a pillow there too so the next guests will benefit from that haha.... we were looking forward to having a nice meal in the lobster pot but that was unfortunately an awful experience and my wife spent the night in agony from the food and we were shocked she wasnt throwing up but shes got a good constitution so luckily she didnt but she was very ill for at least 12 hours after eating there, so we decided to just stay in the cottage and enjoy home cooked food for the rest of the week.
We really didnt want to leave this place as it was so lovely though and the amount of stars we could see on a clear night was a wonderful sight to behold, you dont get stars like that around here, too much light pollution, so that was a real treat. All in all a fantastic week in Church Bay. Thanks to Sandra for letting this little hidden gem out.

Hi Stephen, Thank you a wonderful review. We are glad we get to share our lovely spot in Church Bay. The stars are quite a magical sight without the street lights to spoil the view, like you say.
Sorry you had a bad experience at the Lobster Pot. I am sure this is just an isolated event. But there are lots of places to eat if you fancy something different.
We would welcome you to come and stay again.
