The property exterior and pool and breakfast are very good, but the bathroom and carpet in the room were dirty. Obviously no one vacuumed the carpet before I checked in. The bathroom floor had some dirt on it and a long blonde hair in the bathtub. At about 2AM some guest lit a cigarette (this is a non-smoking hotel) and the fire alarm on my floor (2nd floor) and the one above went off. I really didn't sleep well after that. None of the staff came up to our floor to talk to us, who were wondering what (?) while looking out of our doors or out in the hall in our pajamas or to tell us it was a false alarm. I received a discount on the room due to the disturbance (because I asked the front desk what had happened), and the guest was charged their smoking-violation-cleanup-fee (good!). I switched to this hotel because Best Western, just north of this place, went over the moon on their rates. LaQuinta has VERY GOOD RATES. Thanks La Quinta. Last but not least they did NOT have MY favorite channel, MSNBC, but CNN and Fox News were on the TV.

Room Tip: Get a room that does NOT face north because there's a freeway there with all it's motorcycle and truck noises.

We try to stay at La Quinta exclusively because we typically find the quality to be above average. In fact, we stayed at a La Quinta last night in Castle Rock that was probably the best one we've ever stayed at. We were not able to book another night there so we booked here. A few issues that were not the norm. First, the air conditioner would not cool below 68 degrees and while that is not normally a big deal, my husband has a medical condition that requires it to be cooler. When we called the front desk to ask if it could be fixed, they informed us that all of the air conditioners are set to not cool below 68. Unfortunate as we had to open the window with no screen and listen to the freeway traffic all night.
Our young son slept on the pull out bed but there was no pillow and when we called the front desk to ask if we could get one, they told us they had no extras.
The hotel itself is showing its age as the carpet was well worn, the water pressure in the shower was horrible and other minor issues that just kind of surprised us. Hopefully they will take note and address this.

Room Tip: There are other La Quinta hotels close by. I would recommend checking elsewhere.

Spent one night at this hotel. We rely on the La Quinta chain for a predictable level and quality. This particular hotel did not disappoint. The room was above average and very clean. The only constructive comment is that the complementary breakfast was neither healthy nor tasty. The bananas were so green that I could not even open them. Cold cereal, fat-laden muffins, hard-broiled eggs and yogurt. . .need to upgrade the selections!

Room Tip: Nice, close stay after attending a Red Rocks concert.

Beautiful hotel after remodeling. Great customer service and clean atmosphere both outside and in the room. Recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Location is an ease and close to restaurants, shopping, etc.
